  3. Wow, what an amazing story. I am so glad you are here to tell it. Sending positive vibes your way. I look forward to hearing about your successful journey with the sleeve. I initially considered the lapband and although your story is no reflection on the lapband as a weight loss technique. I am positive made the right decision. You really deserve a pain free recovery. Welcome to the forums, thanks for sharing.
  4. I've heard becoming lactose intolerant is quite common with the sleeve. You may want to leave lactose alone for a couple months. My girlfriend who had her sleeve in Feb is lactose intolerant. She now drinks the syntax nectar drinks. I bought a few just in case this happens to me after surgery.
  5. I am glad to hear the worst is over. I hope you have a easy trip home. Congrats, your new life began three days ago! Can't wait to see pics.

  13. Thanks Vitamin C drops are added to my list. I haven't bought anything for my preop diet yet. I only have one week liquid so maybe I will stock up on Premier Protein for the liquid diet.

  15. Congrats K! I can't wait to hear about your journey.
  16. @cookies I like your list. I am going to get broth, premier protein, crystal light, and Gatorade. I didn't know they had sugar free. I wonder if I could add unflavored protein to the Gatorade.
  17. Hi All, I've been lurking around the forums for about one month. I just thought about all of the things I have purchased over the past couple months. I am scheduled for June 15th with Dr. Elariny in Fairfax Hospital. I thought it would be fun to share some of the things you have purchased to prepare for surgery. I know my taste will change after surgery but I can't help myself plus I will not have a lot of support from family as they are pretty far away so decided its good to have some choices. I know there is already a thread on what you should purchase. But please feel to share what you purchased. This is what I have so far. I am trying to stop and I will unless you have something really good that I have to buy. lol. powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken Soup (canister) Unjury non flavored Protein (canister) Pantry selections pudding variety pack Pantry selections cream of broccoli soup Pantry selections cream of mushroom soup Protein Jello nectar Protein 14 sample pack Nectar Protein peach protein (tub) Pure whey Protein Shot Isopure Pure Protein 4 pack liquid Multivitamin Protein shaker Gas X strips

  19. I read on another page it might be stomach acid. Are you taking an antacid. Some doctors have you take them for three months after surgery.
