Hunger?
My hunger is similar to yours. I feel hungry every few hours, but after a few bites I'm stuffed. Very different from the way I ate before... takes some getting used to.

Jerks.
I think your request that they leave their desks was unreasonable.

Got Sleeve August 1 ! So Glad I Did!
Your progress is phenomenal! Congrats!

Gallbladder Issues
I agree, the gallstones cannot be due to your WLS, they had to be there beforehand. How did they find out that you had gallstones? In my case, it took an abdominal ultrasound, which was performed PRIOR to my WLS. They removed my gallbladded at the same time they did my sleeve. Didn't they do an abdominal ultrasound before you had your sleeve? If so, why didn't they just take out your gallbladder when you had the sleeve done? Putting you through two surgeries is insane. I really feel for you.

Too Little Calories? Anyone Lose Weight With 1000?
I think calorie cycling (low-low-low-high-low) is a good strategy. In the past I've been able to break stalls by having one big ol' carb fest, then resuming a sparse diet.

Tmi - Enema Anyone?
There's nothing inside me to move out! Still on liquids, basically the diet of an infant, so similar BMs. Have you tried prune juice? I'd really hate to go the enema route.

Having Boy Problems, I Feel Bad For You Girl...
I'm very sorry to say this, but from what I've just read, he sounds like a selfish, cruel jerk. No, I don't know the whole story but how does someone who loves you speak to you like that, or treat you like that? A relationship therapist once gave me a quiz: in 30 seconds, name 5 reasons you are sure he loves you. Then another 30 seconds, 5 reasons you are sure you love him. This should be SUPER EASY if you love someone and feel loved! You'd be surprised at the number of people who insist they are in love but can't even come up with ONE reason why, then get angry with the therapist and defend it 'just because'.

Just Curious
Well, what do you mean by "issues"? 'Cause that could be anything. It depends on your point of view what you consider a good trade off for the end result. Personally, I haven't heard ANYTHING I would consider a horror story... just routine surgical outcomes, really no different than a woman might experience when she goes to the hospital to have a baby. Whether it's a healthy fit body or a healthy baby, it's the end result we're after, not the pain and recovery.

Extream Post Op Diet ?
I agree. That's extreme.

Please Dont Judge - Yes Or No Is Fine
No, honey. No you can't. Nobody here would judge you for struggling. We're here to encourage you and be supportive of the behavioral changes you're trying to make. So that's my answer... no. I'm so sorry you're feeling down.

How Many Calories/exercise Are You Getting?
One week postop, 3 protein shakes a day, so like 300 calories.

Question About Incision Pain
I am 1 week out and feel no pain from sleeving, but the pain from my gallbladder removal is terrible! It's the only thing that hurts.

What Do You Wish You Had Done Differently?
I wish I hadn't bought pajamas and slippers. The hospital only allows hospital gowns in bariatric recovery and they provided the same slippers that I'd bought, so total waste of money.

6 Days Post Op, Gallbladder And Vsg
I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time. Did they give you anything for pain? I've been using Tylenol meltaways and they really help (I also had gallbladder out with sleeve, plus hiatal hernia repair, all at once).

3Rd Day Post-Op, Qs... Is This Normal?
I've haven't read about anyone else having these issues, so I need to know. 1. I'm 5 lbs heavier after surgery than I was before surgery. 2. My belly is extremely distended, and feels like a huge, soft marshmallow. 3. There is no skin sensation on my belly. My whole abdomen is totally numb. 4. I'm swallowing tons of air with each sip, and can't figure out how NOT to. The gas pain is excruciating. Gas-X has NO effect. I can't burp either! Is there something I can do to stop swallowing air? I can't stand this gas pain.

So Many Complications, Can't Keep Anything Down.
I'm sorry you're having so many problems. No advice, just best wishes that this turns around for you soon.

I Feel Guilty
I wouldn't feel guilty, and I most certainly would not offer any explanation for requesting a doggie bag. If I was asked "is everything okay?" I'd just say "wonderful, thanks!" and not go any further. If they pressed and said "you didn't eat much" or "you barely touched it" I'd just look at them and say something like "That's right, and now I'd like a doggie bag, thank you." End of story!

So The Hubby Likes An Ample Rear, What If I Lose It All?
I'm taking your question seriously. If you're curious what your husband will think / do, you have to ask him. If there's any chance that he wouldn't support his spouse having health improving and potentially life-saving surgery, that needs to be discussed, pronto.

Can You Buy Unjury Anywhere Else?
They must be sold out. Sorry. I ordered from Unjury directly and received it in 2 days. I was so pleased; shame they don't take Amex.

Can You Buy Unjury Anywhere Else?
Amazon has it, but not the chicken flavor.

Keeping It Secret
I'm saying something like "I am on a very strict, doctor-supervised diet. My nutritionist says I can only have liquid meal replacement this week, then gradually reintroduce more foods. Thanks for being so supportive!"

Just Got My Date
I go one day after you! Good luck.
