  1. I still don't get in 64 oz! It is so hard. After I was sleeved, to keep from getting dehydrated, I drank G2 gatoraide with my water. It doesn't have as much sugar and it kept me hydrated. Just make sure you get enough to stay hydrated and you should be fine!
  2. I wouldn't have been able to do it. I was so tired and in pain because I had so much swelling. Also, you HAVE to take care of yourself. You don't need to be lifting anything (not saying you would be) but you need to be careful with your body. You will be on liquids for 2 weeks after and then soft foods in week three. Your energy levels will be down. I say take care of yourself and hopefully he will understand. This is major surgery and some people have major complications. Small percentage but some do. I say don't do it. Sorry for the negative Nelly attitude but we have to be real. Good luck!
  3. You are doing awesome! I hope to be where you are in my 4th month. We weighed exactly the same at surgery but you've lost faster. I'm down 47 and I'm two months out. I sure hope I make it into the 70's pounds lost by 4 months!!
  4. I had spasms in the middle of my chest too for about 3 weeks out. It hurt really bad. It would hurt when I drank anything. I was told my my surgeon that it was just the swelling and it would eventually go away. It did! If you do not have a fever and are not vomiting, you should be ok.
  5. I'm so sorry! I've had so many EKG's. Maybe it is nothing and the cardiologist will be able to tell. When are you going to hear from your primary? Try not to worry. I know that is easier said than done. I'm a worryier myself. I'm not sure what repolorization is but I sure will pray for you.
  6. Awesome! You seem to be doing so well. Congratulations!
  7. Wishing you the best tomorrow! We have the same stats almost. I was 294 before surgery and 279 at the time of surgery!! GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!
  8. Everyone is so nice. Thank you so much for the comments!! I never really thought that 7 weeks could make such a difference. IF I hadn't had this surgery, I wouldn't have ever been able to lose this much weight in this amount of time. This surgery hasn't been easy but it has been worth it!!
  9. Hi everyone. It has been awhile since I posted. I will be 7 weeks out on Monday. I thought I would post my first before and after pic. I'm down 42 pounds as of today. I can't wait to post when I'm down another 42 pounds!
  10. OH my goodness! That is so wonderful and crazy! I think I may have posted this before on something else but It really is unbelievable. I will never make that.
  11. You have a leak at 7 weeks out? Have you been nauseous or running a fever? I'm so sorry to hear this. I sure will pray for you. Sorry you are having to go through this.
  12. Yes! I had the exact same pain for about 3 weeks post op. Eventually, it will get better. It was worse when I drank cold things. I would keep my water at room temp. I also started mixing Gatoraid G2 in with my water and that is what saved me. It help so much to keep me hydrated. Try that when you get home. I hope you feel better soon. It will go away but I know that doesn't ease the pain now. It hurt terribly! God Bless!
  13. So so sorry. Please keep us updated. Prayers going up for you.
  14. Congratulations! That is awesome!
  15. Yeah, I'm a member of the May Sleevers on Facebook. Good page! Only thing is most people don't come back to this forum.... LOL I love this forum and eventhough I'm on facebook, I keep coming back here!
  16. Try increasing your calories. If you can, it will help you to lose more. You may not be eating enough for your body to let go of more pounds. It is really hard to do but I've found that the scale keeps moving if I try to get in at least 800 calories. Sometimes I know I don't make that and I will have a stall. Hope you feel better soon.
  17. I started with back pain on my left side that radiated to the side and front at 2 1/2 weeks out. I'm 4 weeks post op and JUST started getting some relief. I know when I was in for my 1 week post op appointment there were ladies that had terrible back pain. I didn't at the time but it caught up to me and it always got worse with activity. I think it is just the muscles healing. I have my one month post op tomorrow and I'm going to ask the surgeon. I hope you feel better soon!
  18. You are doing awesome!! I love reading your menus. Gives me ideas of what I can eat when I get two months out. I was one month on Monday. I'm having left side pain and go to see my surgeon tomorrow. No other symptoms just pain. Hope it is just a muscle. I'm so ready to be able to exercise more. Great job!! Keep posting!
  19. I haven't tried ice but heat. I will try the ice too. I will start stretching and see if that helps. Thank you so much.
  20. Thanks Spatters. Yes, I am taking my temp with a thermometer. Seems like 10 times a day because I'm so paranoid! My digestion has been doing fine and I'm drinking water and gatoraide G2 low sugar all the time. Thank you so much for your prayers. This is why his baffles me so much. I have no other symptoms and seem to be doing everything right.
  21. Thank you. I am drinking water and peeing ok. All clear. I thought about that too but I think I'm drinking enough.
