I Commend Those With Families To Care For
I was sleeved on 4/11. My children and grandchildren live in another state. I have had my 3 eight year old grandsons visiting all week. I never realized how hard it is to stay on schedule with vitamins & protein with others to tend to. These very active boys eat constantly & it is mostly junk. In the past I would have eaten every time they did. I have managed to eat my healthy portions of healthy food but I admit it has been hard!! I am in awe of those of you with families to cook for & shop for. I dont know how you do it on a daily basis.

The Point Of Truth
I am 8 weeks post op (4/11) and seem to have hit a stall again. I have been at 156.5 for about 2 weeks now. Can't help but worry because this is the weight that my body has stopped at everytime I have lost weight in the past. I am not freaking yet...LOL.. just a lil nervous. I plan to keep on keepin on and hopefully my sleeve will take care of me this time. Don't get me wrong.. I am thrilled and totally satified with my results so far... I just want past this brick wall. I am so close to being OVERWEIGHT.. I can smell it. (8 pounds).

Rude Comments!
I can totally relate to this. I find that as a rule women are vicious and jealous creatures. I was sleeved on 4/11/12 and began my journey in Sept 2011. I have lost 80# since then. Last week my husband and I saw a couple that we haven't seen since last fall. The woman said " I didn't recognize you with short hair." Seriously--- my haircut is all that is different?? My husband finally saw firsthand what I had been telling him. You just have to ignore and keep on keepin on.

Watermelon
Kczar-- I know!! I expected it to slide on through. I probably ate it to fast because it tasted so good to me.
-
Watermelon
I bought the sweetest watermelon night before last and it tasted great to me... too good I could not stop eating it even though it was filling me to the brim and I was getting miserable. I never did get sick ( unfortunately) but I do know that I cannot eat watermelon because I have no control. This is the first food since surgery on 4/11 that has had that control on me. Saying it to "my family" makes it all better. Thanks!!
