Sleeved Three Days Post Op

Hi Friends,

I would have posted earlier but I've had a rough time so far. I'm still not feeling well and am in a lot of pain. Day by day it gets better. I have so much pain in the middle of my chest when I swallow and even sometime is spasams even when I not sipping. I know I'm not getting enough fluid in. Any suggestions? I'm ready to get over the hard part. Thanks everyone for being here for me... I will blog my whole experience soon.

Concentrate on your fluids. That is most important for now.

I think Kathy hit the nail on the head... Lots of walking and lots of little sips. Seems like that's the theme of a lot of posts. Hope you start feeling better VERY soon!!!!!

Aww thank you so much Kathy. :) I really can't believe how much pain I've been in. When they did the barium swallow they said I was very swollen. Not sure why It has been harder for me. Now I'm just praying I don't have a leak when the swelling goes down. I don't know what I would do with my friends on this forum. Thanks again. I will keep you posted.

Remember when you get down, how far you've come....You are finally sitting on the losers bench girl!!! :) Everyday will get easier. I will continue to pray for your quick recovery and that things go well. Try not to worry about leaks and such, you are going to be just fine!!

Thank you everyone!! I'm still in pain and not sure why. Dr. did say I had a lot of swelling. Anyone else have pain in the middle of their chest like spasms or squeezing??? Just won't go away. I feel I could get alot better if that pain would get better.
