  1. Well all you can do is look forward now. Now you know no soda. And as much as you think you feel no restriction, not being able to eat as much is restriction. You are back on the right track, and just for the record 39 pounds is 39 pounds. Now you realize you are not done with loosing. Now you must get back into loosing mode. So stick with proteins, stay away from sliders, and try to log onto my fitness pal. Just so you can keep track and can become more conscious of what you are eatting. Best of luck.
  2. Looking good, keep up the good work.
  3. I totally understand we live in a society of instant gratification. What ever weight I loose it doesn't seem to be fast enough. But I refuse to become obsessed with my weight so I only weigh in once a week.
  4. So I've been in a stall for 3 weeks, so now I am tryi g to increase my calorie intake, i am 6 weeks post op. my usual calorie intake is 800 a day. So today I was able to increase my intake to about 1100 calories. My question is how long do I have to do this for. lso for those of you wondering I have started a exercise regiment of 45 min walking a day.
  5. It sounds good, it's worth a try. Best of luck.
  6. My surgeon was so against that to the point if we gained weight he would cancelled the surgery. So even if I wanted to I was way to scared to.
  7. Chew your food 30 times. I like to wait a full minute after chewing before I take another bite.
  8. Yes, I spend so much more time here vs Facebook.
  9. Happy birthday. Do something that is all you. My birthday is coming up soon and I told my husband I want to go bike riding along the lake front. Do they have carriage rides near by, or how about a boat ride. Depends where your at.
  10. Congrats...keep up the good work. I thought I wanted carbonated drinks, then I had a sip of apple juice. It was watered down and still so freaking sweet. I cant imagine drinking sugar...I mean soda. Lol.
  11. Protein shakes have never agreed with me, I tend to get in all my protein via food.
  12. Have no fear, soon you will post op, and loosing, then you will see all your sacrafices have been worth it.
  13. Don't panic, your body is prob just adjusting to all the recent changes. The scale will go down.
  14. Yippie... Your going to have a slendering summer.
  15. Breath and relax. You need to drink your fluids being dehydrates can get you back in the hospital just as easily. Think positive. Best of luck.
  16. Awesome. 50 pounds that's a lot of weight. Keep up the good work.
  17. Has your doctor gave you any meds for nausea?? Also my surgeon told me that nausea is a symptom of dehydration. So try to sip your way through 64 ounces of fluid, that should help. Hope you feel better soon.
  18. I also have pcos, and I was specifically instructed to continue with my birth control pills, as it is much easier to get pregnant once we start loosing weight. I also feel like the birth control also keeps my hormones in check, which I need, it also curbs all the facial hair.
  19. Yes I did, I also bleed a lot I'm assuming not only because of surgery, but they usually give you blood thinners. My last 2 periods were not normal flow.
  20. Way to go...keep up the good work.
  21. What you are feeling is totally normal. But trust me when I say seeing is believing. It will happen, the day will come when you will just be another girl, and not the fat girl. Your going be in denial for a while, because the weight can't come off fast enough.
  22. To track calories I would try my fitness pal.
  23. Hope you feel better. If it is something you ate it the symptoms should be gone soon. I know this may not seem appealing, but once you can tolerate it, you should try to eat what you would consider one of your safe foods. If you get no symptoms know that it was more than likely what ever you ate. However If the pain does not go away soon, or if you get pains after safe foods then you should contact your surgeon immediately.
  24. Awesome..it looks like you lost 20 years along with those 70 pounds. Keep up the good work.
