I Think I'm Eating Too Fast

I've been noticing after eating that I'm feeling very uncomfortable, like too full. I'm thinking I might be eating/drinking too fast. Are there guidelines on this? I'm 2 weeks out today.

chitowngirl has it on the nose...i often forget to wait (bad habit and I am working on it I swear). I get a pressure sensation and a feeling of wanting to burp but it catches in my throat. UGH.

Two weeks out, so you are still on liquids ... correct? Maybe purees?

Just take your time and slow down. Pour yourself smaller amounts into another container and drink from it. Take a couple minutes between drinks.

If you are on purees and using a spoon, put the spoon down in between. Evaluate how you feel after each bite.

If you are past these two stages, then ... wow. Two weeks out?

Nope, today is actually the first day of puréed for me. :) I usually feel over full after drinking my protein shakes. I'm just not used to drinking so slow, but I do appreciate the tips!
