  1. Trust me this is usually the hardest part of the process. Once you get through this it will be much easier.
  2. Yes, I agree with those who've posted above, your weight loss is awesome. Let's not forget we didn't gain all the weight over night, our bodies are doing the best they can to shed the weight healthy. A pound loss is a pound loss. You should celebrate and rejoice every single pound that goes, because it's gone for good. Best of luck and hope you feel better.
  3. Glad to see you are feeling better. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
  4. Awsome and so true. Thanks for the reminder.
  5. Ok, my husband works outside walking, so in the summer he gets some serious shaffing. First under armour sells boxer brief underwear made out of some really tight smooth material. They're pricey, but they may just be worth buying a pair or two for those days you wanna wear your size 34's. For the rash my husbands go solution is to put athlete's foot cream, according to the hubs you put it on after a shower the just take it easy, by the next morning most of the soarnesd should be gone. Of corse considering just becareful .
  6. So you know how sometimes the weight can't come off fast enough, and we tend to convince ourselves that 1,2 or 3 pounds a week isn't enought. Well today I went for a 10 mile bike ride, and let me tell you, I felt the difference. I'm down 50# from my highest weight, but wow the difference in my stamina and endurance is amazing. I just had to throw it out there get physical and if your mind won't let you see your physical changes your body sure does let you feel them. I love my sleeve.
  7. Congrats to both of you. I was discharged on mushies. Every surgeon has different diets.
  8. Haha... I also had a super cute doctor. Blushing.
  9. Yes, totally. I am 7 weeks out and just this week I started to feel like I didnt need a nap after work. Now I have soo much energy I don't know what to do.
  10. I'm so sorry you had to go thru that. I hope you don't get discouraged. Now more than ever I hope this situation gives you the motivation to get where you need to be so you can have the surgery. My thoughts are with you.
  11. Yippie... Keep up the good work.
  12. Welcome. Best o wishes.
  13. Whoo way to go. By he cutest part of the story is the whole husband part. Congrats.
  14. I've worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I can tell you that some do tors are either really for or against wls. Just like some doctors won't get on board with prescribing diet pills. I feel like they really just don't understand our struggles. I'm glad you moved on. I feel like your old pcp could have used this opportunity to familiarize himself with the pros and cons of wls, before jumping the gun. Then he doesn't even have the balls to face you himself, what a coward.
  15. I plan to get my teeth whitend, I figured it will help me glow more a nice smile can really add to weight loss.
  16. I love these, you should be able to tolerate these during your post op stage.
