I think you should get in the habbit of eating regular meals, with the exception of being much smaller. You certainly don't want to starve yourself, which sounds like you may be doing now.

Marathon Walking
Disney teach....as far as shoes for bigger people you should really invest in a good pair of running pair of shoes or two, because it is actually best to rotate shoes. If I'm not mistaken your from the Chicagoland area, you should check out fleetfeet. It's a store that specializes in everything running. They are really great in helping pick out which shoes are best for your walking/running pattern.

Fruit Cravings?
My surgeon doesn't do the stage 1 so I was discharged on mushies. So I was on stage 3 6 weeks out. I don't have much room for fruit either, if I see that I'm good with my protein. I will allow one of my snacks to be a piece of fruit. But I rarely get to eat it, because I usually need all my room for protein.

My First Sign Of Loosing Weight. And It's Not Good.
Put a posative spin on it....maybe you should wait until you loose more weight and get an upgrade ring or speaking as a wife get upgraded rings. I know it's not cheap that's why maybe that can be your goal gift to your self.

Fruit Cravings?
I say if you are gonna have carbs fruit is the way to go.. However you really need to wait until your cleared. I didn't get to eat fruits until stage 3. When I did crave fruit I did drink juice, but that really didn't do the trick as the juices were just way to sweet.

In Need Of New Food Ideas
I actually am eatting a piece of steak ham, it's super high protein. It fills me up and does the trick.
