  1. You look great!! Keep up the good work
  2. Let's hope the liver specialist can shed some light on what you can eat. Best of luck to you.
  3. Lol... You guys are to funny. One question are you taking biotin? Because I've heard people say that makes them grow hair every where but their head.
  4. Good luck Paula, I'm sure you'll do fine.
  5. Yes, your family doctor should be able to manage your post op care ASCAP far as labs.
  6. Yes, it is normal.
  7. I felt like I did 1,000 sit ups and my abs were super soar. It was uncomfortable, but not intolerable. I hardly used any morphine in the hospital and I only used the tylenol with codine for 4days at night so I could sleep at night.
  8. Welcome.... I dont know your starting weight, but I am also 5'7" and my heaviest weight was 298 and I am currently 225 and I am 4 months postop. It has been great. I've had a relatively smooth recovery. The sleeve does really work, I was a little soar like I did 1,000 sit ups which wasn't too bad. Good luck.
  9. Wowza....you look awesome, your self confidence radiates thru the pictures. Good luck.
  10. I'd say no. As far as a release if exercise is not an option, how about sex??? Just a thought.
  11. I frequent an Italian restaurant and I order meatballs in sauce, or I order chicken parmisagn (sp?) with broiled chicken. There is my always go to safe soup. I guess you could see if they have some type of non fried calamari, don't be afraid to ask for a special order, I always tell the waitress I just had surgery and cannot eat anything greasy. Good luck.
  12. I had my sleeve done on 3-27. I eat about 800 calories a day. I can go upto 1000 if I have something such as a piece of birthday cake.
  13. Don't worry I doubt it feels like getting stabbed. The most accurate way to describe the post op pain is I felt like I did 1,000 sit ups and my stomach was soar.
  14. That's pretty good. I'm 4 months postop and loose about 2 pounds a week and have done so since I had the procedure with the exception of the first week I lost about 7-8 pounds.
  15. Wow seeing the difference in the jeans is real eye opening. Congrats.
  16. Lmao...the whole foods by my job always gives free samples and I always do that, and to top it off I leave full. That's my updated version of a fast food buffet. L
  17. I started at 298 pounds and am currently 227, I feel great and my goal is 160-150. I will reevaluate once I get to that point.
