4 Months -74 Pounds Post Op With Pictures...
I know I loved looking at pictures when I was just starting out or preop. Keep in mind that I still have a ways to go. My starting weight was 298 and I am currently at 224. The first two photos when I'm all in black are my preop. I hope they posted correctly.

Question For The Ladies
Hmmm.....I get the same pain in my abdominal area when running or jogging. I asked my doctor once long ago and she states that it is somewhat common, i want to say it has to do with breathing and decreased oxygen supply. Since u stated (if I'm not mistaken) that this occurs after walking for a long time I would think it is the similar thing. If you google abdominal pain when running, you will get the more scientific explanation. I hope this helps.

The Most Embarrassing Fat Moment....
Yes I work at a hospital, don't worry it is quite common. As a matter of fact when patients call to make the appointments they are asked about their weight, if they weigh over (300??) lbs they are sent to an open MRI which is not so constricting.

Yes, h&p is something standard that they request. My doctor had a list of stuff I needed to do so I can submit them to ins and that was one of them.

Restaurant "id" Cards?
My surgeon gives those, I don't use it. It's not something I feel comfortable whipping out. I really don't care for the choices on the kids menu. I just order on the menu and take home the leftovers.
