  1. I usually will have sauce and meat with literally 2 or 3 pieces of pasta. I personally don't want or need anymore so I feel comfortable doing it. What I find helpful is eating ravioli usually stuffed with cheese and I'll mix in some Alfredo sauce and shrimp. Most of it is shrimp, and all I can eat is 1 or 2 ravioli.
  2. I used to work at a doctors office and we also had this problem so we put 2 scales next to each other and had the patient put one foot on each. I'm sure this is not super accurate, but it should give a round about number.

I work at a hospital and I can tell you it is not ethical for them to bill you I advance for the 20% of charges, because what they bill your insurance (charges billed) is not what the insurance pays. It is customary to charge the deductible and copay prior to the procedure, but not the rest. And the deduct able and copay should not be paid until you have your date and your closing in on the procedure.

No...that is not common practice. That would definitely cause me to go to a different specialist.
  5. Wow you look great!!! And I love the LV.
  6. I've been getting my periods and no more metformin for me.
  7. You look great congrats..
  8. Wow you look great, keep up the good work.
  9. Yes...actually any issues you had before tend to be magnified, good or bad. Some people can make it thru them and some people can't. As we get wls we do change as do our needs, wether or not our significant other can adapt to our needs is something to be seen. I personally have always felt my husband did not make me feel appreciated as a woman and a wife as much as he should/could. It was something that made me upset before, but I was willing to deal with. However now after I'm down 80lbs and I'm getting attention from everywhere else except my husband, it does cause feelings of anger. However I am not a grass is greener on the other side, so I am trying work on this with my husband. Ps and the sex is much better.
  10. Wow you look greAt!!!!
  11. Wow that is really great weight loss!!!!
  12. Wow it looks great...very updated and makes you look young and trendy!!!
  13. Sorry that your extended family is not supporting you. However in my eyes you do have the support if your immediate family (which is your husband). I say do what you have to do.
  14. I really have to say I wish I could have done this surgery at your age. I myself have pcos and it gets worse with time, the more you weigh the harder it is to loose weight. I was on 2000mg of metformin....holy crap that's a lot. I can say that you have to do what is best for yourself. Good luck...
  15. I don't use the term diet, but I do moniter what I eat. I will allow myself to have a snack, but in no way is my diet based on processed unhealthy foods as it once was. My food is mostly protein based, but I will eat a few crackers a day.
  16. 60-70 g Protein. 40ish g carbs 800 calories.... All I can say that it really doesn't make sense when people say if you dont eat you won't lose weight. If that was the case then no one would ever die of starvation.
  17. Flirting is just that....flirting. There are no strings attached in flirting. At best you have made someone feel better at worse you may offend them. Under no circumstance should anyone take flirting as a commitment. I was single for a long time and had morphed into a big flirt, it is something that I have come to enjoy. I've made tons of friends via flirting, just because I flirt does not mean I'm romantically interested.
  18. How much did you gain??? If I is under 5 pounds it is natural for our bodies to fluctuate. Do you track your calories via my fitness pal. It could be that you are at a stall...
  19. I'm not at goal yet...I'm only 4 months out. But I can't wait to get there. Congrats.
