  1. They sleep in the same room you do. There is a double bed in there for your guest.
  2. That is a great idea. Instant protein in a neat little cube. I wonder if like shrimp or fish with some light low fat tartar sauce would taste good or tuna fish with some boiled eggs and mayo. Hmmm I am getting hungry.
  3. I know its hard. I just quit in January and I still want one everyday. I also do not want to go back to that. I want to get my sleeve and get to be a healthier and skinnier self and cigarettes only slow things down and cause you to age more. I will always want one and when I get stressed I think about it but I am going to fight it all I can.
  4. You need to do what feels right to you and your sleeve. No one knows what that magic number is but your body. Do what works and don't worry about what people think you should be doing.
  5. I am not sure how bad it will hurt but it will be so worth it.
  6. You are my eyes and ears for what is going to happen to me next lol. So keep me posted on what is going on with you. I will be thinking of you and waiting for the good news of your sleeve journey
  7. That is great!!! You should be proud of yourself! You have already lost alot!! Congratulations! I am proud of you too!!
  8. Usually you are still covered for 30 more days after because the premium is paid in advance. I would move the date up just to be careful. Talk to your boss and explain the situation you may be surprised by their response.
  9. Ok little southerngirl let us know what is going on! Good luck!
  10. I know what you mean about the gaining weight. I have not had surgery yet but am scheduled for May 7th in Mexico with Dr. Garcia. I cannot wait. I was thin my whole life until my twenties then started to gain and has been down hill from there. I am tired of being this way, I have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. It is time to reclaim my life and get back to myself. Welcome to the forum.
  11. You are welcome. You can do this! You just have to set your mind to it. Do not give up and go back! You did not go through this surgery to go back to old habits and sabotage your own success. Stay positive! Its not a race its a lifestyle change.
  12. First of all 90lbs is a very good loss. Second everyone is different. You cannot compare yourself to someone else or you will always be discouraged. Are you taking enough protein in, drinking enough fluid, exercising, or just ask yourself what you are eating. Also you cannot starve your sleeve. Do not give up you haven't even hit a year yet. Be happy you have lost 90 do not be in competition with someone else. When there is a competition there is always a loser and you are not a loser (in a negative way). Change your way of thinking and say "I have lost 90lbs!!" Stress will make you gain weight so relax and work on yourself without comparing yourself to someone else.
  13. I would have asked her how many hospitals she has been too in Mexico and where she has based her informed opinion from. She seems to have so much information on the subject she should be able to answer those questions. She said she would not know where to start for you post op care she would start the same place she would if you had went somewhere else. She is a doctor and is supposed to help you when you need it not refuse you service because she doesn't like your decision. If every doctor refused a patient because they did not like what they did then the smokers, overwieght, pain pill addicts, or anyone that has committed a crime would never receive medical attention. She is an idiot.
  14. I was told 80 grams of protein a day for my surgery.
  15. I am not sure. I have BCBS of Alabama and the process was going to be too long for me with all the documentation needed. I opted to go to Mexico for mine. Alot cheaper and less hassle. I picked my date with no problem.
  16. I agree with fitforlife. The stomach acid will cause an infection and that has to be taken care of. Something is not right about the information your getting. Is this your surgeon telling you this? If it is I would find a new doctor and get another opinion.
  17. Don't forget ankel30. She also went to Dr. Garcia. Thank you Lbeauty for those names. I did not have all those.
  18. I too am going to Dr. Garcia but not until May 7th! Let me know how it goes and good luck.
  19. I will be going to Dr. Garcia on May 7th! Congrats on the decision. Welcome to the forum!
  20. Ha Ha. We do have a gremlin inside that is always hungry and your not supposed to feed it after midnight because it turns into a hungry monster lol. I cannot wait to have my gremlin surgically removed lol.
  21. I thought the same thing initially but I quickly got put back into reality because I cannot diet worth a ****. I always fall back into the old habits and eat something bad. I do understand what your saying. It will all be fine. I have my surgery in Mexico on May 7th and life will change for the better. It may be tough but it will be worth it.
  22. There is a lady that had the gastric sleeve a couple years ago on youtube. Her screen name is AmySDMOM. She used the 5 day pouch test to restart her weight loss during a stall.
