I just started a couple days ago. Its a mushie, just like cream of wheat, not supposed to have either until day 22 according to our diet. I havent had any today, and im going back to what yhe diet says, because I want desperately to succeed!

Both are hood surgeons. I went to Dr Kelly for a few reasons, but the main two were, credentials, and experience. Dr. Kelly's credentials and expirience were head and shoulders above Garcia. Not saying anything negative about Garcia, just that he's less experienced and his credentials dont match Kelly's. Dr. Kelly is a phenomenal surgeon. I had little to no pain after surgery, and his aftercare while I was there was impeccable. His staff are all caring and gentle. Plus, his assistant, Omar, is a wonderful friend, bodyguard, chauffeur, etc while you are there. I really liked Dr. Kelly's American credentials. Being a part of the prestigious FACS, and belonging to the American Bariatric Health Association, spoke volumes to his dedication to his profession, and his specialized clientele.

I am cutrently a full time Mom, but I have no trouble keeping up with 3 young kids, clraning, laundry, cooking meals, etc. my 56 yr old aunt was sleeved with me, on June 11th and went back to work on the 18th, no troubles!

NJ, yes Omar said one of their recent patients is a travel agent, and he was working on just that. I dont know any more though, I guess we'll have to ask Omar!

We are now home and fully rested from our mini vacation! It truly felt like one! From being treated to the best soup, shopping and pedicures as a gift from the Dr., I couldnt ask for a better experience, or a more highly skilled physician and team. Lucernas broth has nothing on casa de mole's connsumme!

Dr Kelly is ohwnomenal. Cant imagine using a coordinator, thar gouges the Dr fir thousands. Omar is wonderful, dr's wife cecey, is sweet, and it was great to be there to support the ladies who came after us. You wont regret your decision!

My family and I were sleeved on Monday, and each of us had a different experience! I had very little pain, my aunt had a little trouble coming out of anesthesia, and my cousin, had lots of gas pain and freaked out a bit, but she's never had any major surgery. Right now my aunt and I are relaxing in the lobby of the beautiful lucerna, until our ride arrives. My cousin went into town with cecey to get somr new sunglasses. Everyone is great, the broth at the hotel isn't great like the others have daid, but we have been spoiled by Omar. He has taken us every dau to casa de mole for luncj, amd their soup is beyond great. Dr Kelly is phenomrnal, he treated us girls to a wonderful pedi, and spent lots of time visiting and answering questions. Never had any trouble really. Great experience.

Heather, I understand your anxiety concerning your child. I have 3 younger kids, and one that's technically grown (still my baby ) and I didnt want them to worry needlessly, and adding to my anxiety, so they only know that im going on a trip. Plus I dont want them blurting out to my mil about it, so she can blab all over the valley about me, lol. I fly out tomorrow, and my nerves are on high, but I am confident in my surgeon, and I just have to give it to God.

Im flying out Sunday, I'll keep you posted. There are several ladies on here that have gone alone njsharon is a recent lone traveler. She can tell you more, or just keep scrolling through, and you will see lots of great stories. Dr K and his team are top notch, he has done tons of surgeries, and revisions. I am confident you've made the right choice in surgeons

From what I understand from my paperwork from Dr K, is that you can pay with a credit catd but there is a standard 3% fee on top of the rate. I was told they ptefer a cashiers check, but they will certainly work with you to make this possible.

Finances until very recently have been too tight to make those kind of purchases, so I have gotten by with whay I can get locally. Thanks for the info

@ Dad, actually I am on Monday. I changed my date several months ago, and informed MinaT when she made this but it never got changed, lol. Thank you for your thoughts and good wishes, please extend them to my aunt and cousin, who will be having surgery with me on Monday!

Yes, the jello is a lifesaver! Ive already done 11 days and the last three is just clear liquids, no shakes! Mie, crystal light, broth, and jello for 3 days sounds crazy, but I'll.do it somehow!
