  1. oh yeah...still keep clothes at work LOL......if your dr okays it, immodium AD helps and also a daily capsule of probiotic (opened and put in my shake) def helped also...it will pass.....and as hockey said, liquids in and liquids are gonna come out..
  2. whether I am done or not, my dr advised me to stop at 20 min mark (and its been a year banded and 20 min is a long time when you eat...never realized that before...usually it was inhaled within 5 minutes)
  3. Whose expectations? Yours or theirs? My darling, as others have said, YOU OWE no one any explanation. If some dumb as* ask how much, you do not have to a number as numbers on a scale go up and down all day long..say you are losing according to your body and for them to keep watching for results. Because my dear, they are coming. Just believe...and in my opinion, your expectation for yourself should be you doing what you can and knowing that is good enough. ((hugs))
  4. hello success......see, even when you think you did not do well, you DID..so happy for you
  5. if in doubt or concerned, ask your dr..that is what i do i read things on here, then write them down and ask my dr on my monthly follow ups
  6. why do that? just eat more Protein..eat fruit/veggies and drink alot that will help more than any pill
  7. I am proud of you because you are realizing you are WORTH IT.atta girl
  8. just eat slow and small wee bites..so soon after banding, anything otherwise can cause you to feel that way
  9. well sure surgery is an option and sometimes, as the others have said, due to a person amount of weight and other physical things (age etc) some like me just will have some sag...sure you can tone and exercise and it may help.i have some sag and bat wings...hub said i am still sexy...and i can live with that.
  10. i kept the green skirt in my profile as a (reminder) to what i will never be again...i am never going back to what i was..there is no just in case with me.....up to you though...
  11. yes..cant go wrong with grill meat/veggies/fruit (soup).... if you can, order appetizer size or have them box half of it.. before surgery, we ate out 4 or 5 days a week (no lie) since banding, we have ate out a handful of times. dont overthink it..order the healthiest version of what you want.. eat the amount (you are eyeballing as your allotted amount) and just enjoy the food being with your hubby..that is what it is about.
  12. you all's comments mean the world to me thank you from the bottom of my heart
  13. i think my hub would wish me to crave something besides PMS......i just get even more b**tchy than normal...

  17. yes, call your doctor and let them know... they may advise you to come in and get some removed...throwing up bile is not what should be happening...
  18. dont worry. i am sure you are fine.....
  19. dont leave....please stay....remember, its over now and its a new day...put a smile on that pretty face..shoulders back...chin up...high heels on and lets get on with getting ourselves well GF....i and others, we got your back.
  20. great post sistah sharon without the support of some on this forum, i do not think i would have got as far along as i have...that being said, if i did not want to help myself in the first place, i would also not be where i am...
  21. i drink one in the mornings usually. i like knowing i am getting a jump start on my protein intake for the day and heck i like how it tastes. i put in my vitamixer or in freezer to make a slush/wendy's like shake/frosty.
  22. sounds like some great goals to me.
  23. you do what you have to do in order to have the surgery. its a mind thing...follow the pre op diet (to prepare you for surgery)....realize there is a difference between being hungry and head hunger...stay busy, drink alot and get your head into the (game).
  24. for this, you need to call your doctor and let them know what is going on as it could be something or (nothing) which i hope its the latter...
  25. i had a last meal the day before pre op...like b52, i dont miss eating like i use to. since banding and great support from a group of friends on here, i have found myself not living to eat like i use to..now i just live...(although once a week, i eat whatever i want to).
