Yup, to take the words of carolinagirl, only liquid going in......only liquid going out. Makes sense.

  • I had it really bad for a couple of days, about 7-9 days post-op. And it was BAD. But it subsided, and now at 10 weeks out, I have the reverse issue

I was really bad first 3 days post op. It didn't help that I was sipping apple juice and adding to the problem....not pretty.

I was pretty bad during week 1 and 2 of my preop liquids then I didn't go at all the third week. then about 3 days post op it started up again.

I asked my dr today and he said imodium was fine.

its just that its so unexpected when it happens.. :-) guess if I still have it when I go back to work on Monday I will have extra clothes!
