  1. Thanks guys! It's nice to know that I'm not alone on this . I haven't blown it by no means, but have went over my allotted calorie intake the past few days. I'll have to remember the skinny cow ice cream. It sure sounds yummy! Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  2. I have always been hungrier the week before and the week of my period. That being said, I thought the band would help with this, especially as I've read that a lot of people feel that their bands getter tighter during this time. Does anyone else still feel like they could eat a cow? This is very concerning for me.... Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  3. This is awesome! Thank you!! Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  4. Bucket list; wear shorts for the first time in 14 years, wear a bathing suit without being totally mortified, go to a Water park, lots of roller coasters, and shopping!!! Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk

  7. I am almost six weeks post op, and since yesterday I have been having pain near my port. It started Friday night when I laid down on the couch for a while. When I got up I felt a pain near my port. Now, ever since then, it hurts really bad when I move in certain ways, and it is becoming a constant hurt. I'm terrified that I have some how torn something. Has anyone else experienced this? Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  8. I understand all of your points of view, but I've told EVERYONE! I was and still am super excited about my surgery, and finally getting the weight off after being overweight my entire life. Also, I WANTED to be held more accountable because this surgery is my last hope. No one has said anything to me about me not supposed to have something because very few foods are "worth" me eating. food has to meet certain criteria for me these days . I'm almost 6 weeks post op, and down 26 pounds. I so psyched! I have my first fill next week! I wish you all tons of luck and will power on this journey. It's going to be hard, but it's also going to be worth it!!! Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  9. You didn't ruin anything, so stop beating yourself up. You know what you did wrong, it's over, and tomorrow is a new day. Learn from your mistakes and keep going. You got this! Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  10. I can't wait to be able to cross my legs! Congratulations!!!! Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
  11. I didn't have to do a weight loss trial, so I ended up eating everything that I knew I wouldn't be able to have after surgery, and gained about 20 pounds before surgery. Liquids were extremely hard for me. I did 4 days pre-op, but didn't stick to it post op. So as far as the post op diet, I'm not the best one to talk to . I felt pretty good after surgery. Just walk as much as possible. The port area is much more sore than the rest, but it gets better. The first week I couldn't lie down due to nausea, so I had to sleep in the recliner. But it wasn't too bad Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk

  14. I had surgery on June 12th. My parents live in Pensacola, and they told me about the surgeon there. We were all very impressed with him. I understand being nervous about surgery, but this was the absolute best thing that I've ever done. Sent from my MB865 using LapBandTalk
