  1. Hi 2bonederfulagain, thanks for the info I located a store in my area!!!! I will check them out Friday!!!ô¿ô

Do you have an Alfred Angelo store close to you...the plus size collection is amazing. I had to go to 5 davids bridals to find my dress. They all have different stuff in stock and I waited to last minute too.

  2. Congratulations!! I know this may not help much because you want something off the rack, but have you seen the dresses on igigi . com? I absolutely love the entire line and the sizes are more in line with normal clothing.

I have looked online but after going into the store i am not sure what size to order i would hate to pay all that money and the dress does not fit. Plus i am pressed for time. Thanks for the info. Have a good day!

  3. Hi, I feel your pain. I'm on day 62 and I have only lost 54lbs. I am trying not to feel sorry for myself. I have been on a stall for the past 3 weeks. I hope you can find piece in knowing that the weight will come off if you are exercising and eating properly. I went to see my Doctor and I was not satisfied with the weight I had lost, but I continue on. I hope you can find peace knowing that this is the best support team right here. Hang in there put your big girl panties on and together we will support one another. I wish you the best of luck on this journey.

  4. First of all, 42 pounds is amazing! And the fact that you were dehydrated tells me that you may not be drinking enough water. I work to get 64 oz of water in a day. If you are kicking it on the elliptical machine, you may be building muscle, which weighs more than fat. That's AWESOME and wonderful, because muscle burns more fat.Don't get discouraged. Concentrate on getting in the protein and water each day and keep working out. You will lose weight. For now, look for the non-scale victories: Are your clothes getting looser? Are your measurements showing that you are getting smaller? If those two things are happening, then you're doing this right. If not, then you may need to adjust your eating, but I'm betting that you are doing fine! :)Good luck!

Lissa, Thank you so much. After I wrote this I said i was going to focus on getting the protein in and doing more exercise. Boy 64 oz is a lot of water to try and consume but I guess if others are doing it I can to. My clothes are looser so thats a good thing.

    Thanks again .

    Thanks so much for the

  5. My fiance brings sweets into the house all the time. But thankfully I have the willpower to say no. At first I thought it was sabotage but then I thought he has always eaten junk food. I look at it as the sleeve was my decision and therefore it is my responsibility and I can't expect him to diet with me. I did tell him not to offer me any because he knows my fght.

It's a struggle and a difficult one. I pray you stay strong and your family takes into consideration the goal you are trying to reach and help with more healthy food choices for you and them.

    Good luck!!

  6. 25 lbs is terrific. Celebrate your accomplishment - it is huge! lift a weight that is 25 lbs and you will feel just how much lighter you are. It's your life, don't worry what co-workers might say or what they might think. What does it matter? Worry gets you no where! My surgery was 1/17/12 so I think we are at the same stage post-op. I went back to work just under two weeks post-op. I was tired, but it was good to be intellectually stimulated rather than being at home and thinking about....food. I'm still surprised you are eating solid food. I'm on liquids until 2/14 and then go to the 2 week pureed phase.Exercise is key. Walk at least every day and if the weather isn't permitting, get up, put some music on and dance or walk in place in your livingroom, lift your knees up high and move your arms around. It will help with your psyche if anything - gotta get the blood flowing.Think positive proactive thought as they breed positive proactive actions!Give Thanks!

CAsleeve, thank you so much for your encouraging words. I broke down and got a scale today and it showed I had lost 3 lbs. I don't want to worry myself with how much weight i've lost but the fact that I feel so much better. The weather where I live is cold and crappy but I will turn some music on and dance around the house. I am going to go buy me some weights as well. Again thanks so much.

  7. Wow,,,,Is all I can say right now. I truly feel your pain. Reading your blog hit me so close. When I graduated high school I had a fear of going to college for the fear I would not fit in the seat and be teased like I was all through school. That has been one of my biggest regrets. I had the surgery on 01/18/12 and it is one of the best things I could have done for myself.

People are mean and cruel, but we are grateful for this procedure. I wish you the best of luck...Just remember our Parents don't always have the best answers but we love them regardless. It sound like you need to speak with a counselor to help you with this journey.

Good Luck and enjoy the new you!!!
