Wedding Dress Blues
Hi Ladies, I am getting married next month and still don't have a dress. I went to davids Bridal to buy one off the rack. I have lost 66 lbs and I still need a size 26 wedding dress but i can wear size 22 pants. This was very disappointing. My question is does anyone have a beautiful dress in a 26 they want to sell or know where I can purchase one off the rack in ohio, chicago, or Indiana? Any help would be great ahving a small vegas wedding. Trying to get rid of at lest 10 lbs in 2 weeks....lol Thanks for your help.

Nagging Doubts
Hi, I feel your pain. I'm on day 62 and I have only lost 54lbs. I am trying not to feel sorry for myself. I have been on a stall for the past 3 weeks. I hope you can find piece in knowing that the weight will come off if you are exercising and eating properly. I went to see my Doctor and I was not satisfied with the weight I had lost, but I continue on. I hope you can find peace knowing that this is the best support team right here. Hang in there put your big girl panties on and together we will support one another. I wish you the best of luck on this journey.

I Am Scared And Trying To Keep The Faith
I am scared I am gaining weight, I purchased a scale about 3 weeks ago and I weigh myself 3 to 4 times a day and each time it says something different. I am struggling with what to eat, I think I am doing the right thing and it seem like I am gaining. My Doctors office called today to inform me I was dehydrated and needed to go in and get fluids. I came home got on the scale and it went from 301 this morning to 309 is that right is it normal. I am scared, I am failing, I am not losing the weight I thought I would. I am going to go back and see the Nutrionist to get some help with my meals ans portion sizes. I want to be successful with my weight loss. I started this journey at 349 lbs, when I went to my post op I was 307 lbs, my scale has not gotten down under 300lbs and it's been about 3 week. I have an elipitical machine that I have been using and i am still not losing. Any advice would be helpful. I do mess up and eat the wrong thing sometime but for the most part I am faithful, I have trouble getting the calcium down it makes me nauseated, I am trying to find one I really like. Thanks for listening I appreciate any help, and advice you can give.

Sabatoge Or Love
My fiance brings sweets into the house all the time. But thankfully I have the willpower to say no. At first I thought it was sabotage but then I thought he has always eaten junk food. I look at it as the sleeve was my decision and therefore it is my responsibility and I can't expect him to diet with me. I did tell him not to offer me any because he knows my fght. It's a struggle and a difficult one. I pray you stay strong and your family takes into consideration the goal you are trying to reach and help with more healthy food choices for you and them. Good luck!!

I Feel Like I'm Gaining Instead Of Losing
CAsleeve, thank you so much for your encouraging words. I broke down and got a scale today and it showed I had lost 3 lbs. I don't want to worry myself with how much weight i've lost but the fact that I feel so much better. The weather where I live is cold and crappy but I will turn some music on and dance around the house. I am going to go buy me some weights as well. Again thanks so much.

I Feel Like I'm Gaining Instead Of Losing
I haven't purchased a scale because I didn't want to be weighing myself every day. I am 24 days post op and not sure if i'm losing like i should. When I had my 2 week appointment I had lost 25 lbs. My clothes don't feel as loose as they should at least to me. My stomach feels like it bloated, my incision still hurts like hell. I'm having trouble getting all my vitamins in daily, and I need to start exercising. I'm sure that will help me alot. I am still off work and i'm scared to go back for fear no one will be able to tell i've lost weight. Although I do feel really good. I eat chicken turkey and refried beans all the time trying to get the protein in, my nutritionist told me to eat chicken every meal if it stays down. I don't crave the bad foods i used to eat so I think that's a good thing. Has anyone else felt this way or been through this?

Month Six And Feeling Very Emotional.. It's All Over The Place
Wow,,,,Is all I can say right now. I truly feel your pain. Reading your blog hit me so close. When I graduated high school I had a fear of going to college for the fear I would not fit in the seat and be teased like I was all through school. That has been one of my biggest regrets. I had the surgery on 01/18/12 and it is one of the best things I could have done for myself. People are mean and cruel, but we are grateful for this procedure. I wish you the best of luck...Just remember our Parents don't always have the best answers but we love them regardless. It sound like you need to speak with a counselor to help you with this journey. Good Luck and enjoy the new you!!!
