  15. I had my first fill today and the area were the needle was put in is now bruised, sore and kinda hard. Is this normal?
  16. My doctor says not to drink right after because it washes the food down which in turn causes the pouch to expand and I don't think thats good...
  17. Beth I know its hard we're all going through, or have been through what your going through. It is so hard to be going through the holidays and not eat the same and delicious things everyone is eating. I was helping my mother and law cook yesterday and it took EVERYTHING in my body to not eat everything, lol. So don't kick yourself because of it, its a mental thing we have that we should change if we want to suceed! The fuel that keeps me going is that in 4 years I will be graduated from college HEALTHY and trying for my first baby and I can't accomplish that by cheating my way! I hope this helps a little!! Much love, Caroline.
  18. When I was First banded on Dec 9th I was also nauseous when I ate things. But ot will get better its normal, make sure to get warm liquids should help with the nausea. As for the burping thats good! Its the gas from the surgery leaving your body and thats a good thing it will relieve some pain! Remember keep walking! Good luck, Caroline.
  19. Yeah I have the pain also when I hiccup, I hate it! My doctor is keeping me on liquids until my first post op doctors visit...So thats a grand total of 10 days of agony!! I swear I will never look at jello and broth the same way...yuuuuck! Today I am 20 pounds down!
  20. Val, I know what you mean! I see my husband eating delious foods and I want to tackle him for it! Lol. As for the gas pains I still have them too just not as bad, after walking around Macys yesterday for 3 hours I woke up feeling much better! The key is to walk walk walk!!! Good luck!!

  22. Okay, so I had my surgery on December the 9th the first few days I was pretty bad. The following day after surgery I went back to the hospital because i literally felt that I was going to faint! Anyways they kept me over night and was released the next day each day I feel better and better which I am so greatful for! Sometimes I get painful pain on my top left abdomen when I get hiccups, but like I said each day os better! So Here I am more than a week post op and I am down 19 pounds! Starting from 286 to now 267 is this normal? Am I loosing weight too fast?
