  1. Never eat too much, your stomach knows when it's full. Make sure you get your proteins in and drink a lot of water. Follow the rules of the sleeve and you will be fine.
  2. Stop comparing yourself to others! Your body is not like the other person's body! You have done great so please stop comparing and celebrate the loss that you have had! It's alot of weight and you are not finished yet. It will come off. Now if you are depressed because you feel guilty and shameful about not exercising like your suppose too, then that's a different story. Start exercising now and pat yourself on the back for getting started. You can do it without looking back and punishing yourself. Celebrate the weight loss you have succeeded at! In fact, Keep Rockin that Sleeve and to something wonderful for yourself. You can and have done this! Eat Protein, protein, protein, and veggies. Drink lots of Water to stay hydrate and exercise.
  3. Tina ~ I love who you are and you share such awesome stuff. You are such a positive person! Keep being you! You are beautiful......
  4. I would have it done again in a heart beat! I have completely changed my old eating habits and I keep it high in proteins. Once in a while I will eat less than 1/2 of an In N Out Double double but really don't enjoy the bun anymore. i just had one and now my stomach is not liking it. Blahhhhhh! My head hunger got the best of me. I highly recommend it to whom ever is interested.
  5. Did you have a leak previously and was in the hospital for a long time getting feed IV? Or am I thinking of someone else?
  6. PQ. Weren't u I'm the hospital with a leak where they were giving u iv fcaloties? That was a long time and if I'm correct. Then that period of time does not count. If I have the wrong info. U are still doing a great job. I am also frustrated at times and was reminded by forenichick about being patient and letting my body drops weight. I do agree that u need to reset the boundaries with ur family. I tell my family absolutely no junk food but they still bring it. I found ice cream on my freeWr so I avid that freezer. I do need to throw it out. So frustrating. Hang in there and focus on proteins. U can do this!
  7. Congrats! Sit back an get ready for a roller coaster ride. It is an amazing trip.

  12. A PPI is for gas and acid reflux in our tummies. Like nexium, omeprazole, pepcid, etc. Gas can cause us a lot of discomfort. Let us know what your surgeon saids.
  13. This is a symptom of DEHYDRATION! You might need to go into urgent care and get an IV push.
  14. What does your diet look like? Can you give us an example? I have MFP and my username is dorrierobles2003@yahoo.com. Add me as a friend and you can go back to november and it will show you what I ate at that time.
  15. They are very small and can be taken with some yogurt or pudding to help them slide down into your tummy.

  17. Lisa ~ I knew you had those pesky Cheetos under control! LOL
  18. Oh, your hair will fall out. But it grows back. I just went to a health food store and bought biotin tablets and silica caplets. I asked the person working there which was a better one. they work great. I have hair growing in places I don't want it to grow and at a quicker rate too!. LOL
  19. Call the surgeon's office and have it checked ASAP. Also ask them about a PPI if you aren't taking any. A PPI is nexium, omeprazole, pecid. Better safe than sorry.
  20. Hair loss usually starts around 3 months post op. It will happen and there's really nothing you can do about it. I take biotin and silica and that helps my hair grow back faster. It's for nail and hair regrowth. My hair stopped falling out at 6.5 months post op. I had no bald spots, my hair just thinned out. It does grow back and it's worth losing my hair to get skinny and healthier. I love my skinniness!
  21. Hey Lissa ~ are you still eating those nasty cheetos? LOL I have finally gotten away from those pesky chocolates in my office! Yesterday I found myself eating the crumbs from the Tortilla chip bag right before dinner. I was so stress out about my family members rumeraging through my in-laws house (after FIL died) that I needed some comfort food. But then I couldn't eat my dinner at BJ'S! When will I ever learn? Yes I know, I won't do that again. Cheetos and chips are the devil's food. LOL
  22. My thoughts and prayers are with you! You will do fine! Congrats on the first day of the rest of your life!
  23. I love those NSV'S! Can't wait to hear your in a size 12! That's right around the corner! Congrats!
  24. I ate anything! I kept my diet high protein and some veggies.
