I had some itching around my incision sites also. But it went away quickly. I have diffiiculties with my scalp. It itches like crazy after I have it dyied. I had so much gray I couldn't wait any longer. My hair dresser told me to use Nioxin because it has alot of vitamins and stuff. But it still itches. I'm still losing alot of hair, but new hair is also coming in.

i was always hungry for the first 6 weeks post op then after readin the postings here, I talked to my surgeon's office about taking a PPI (prevacid). That helped with my hunger. Also worked at increasing fluid intake. Hope this helps.

i have been drinking diluted low calorie gatorade. I have a little discomfort when I drink just plain water. I tried the crystal light in water and didn't like it much. Still have some left, I will try it again soon.

Hey, this is just the beginning, in a couple of weeks or maybe 1 month, you will need to buy new pants, because those won't fit anymore. It's exciting. I haven't lost weight for about 3 weeks and I'm noticing that my size M blouse (that I love so much) is actually getting too big. I would have never thought I'd get down past a M. So stoked! Keep up the losing it will happen, and actually it is happening. ROCK THAT SLEEVER girl!

I have changed to many close sizes. I am down to a size 8 pant and a medium top, which is headed for a size smaller. I love but hate to have to get new cloths, it is costly. But worth it, I love looking sexy and cute now.

Please don't poo poo the exercise. The exercise will help firm you and assist your bone structure. I didn't really exercise like I was suppose too and now regret it. I could of walked for 30 minutes on a daily basis but talked myself out of it. Now I have hired a trainer and am doing core exercises and starte walking every day. I love it, i have alot more energy now and hope it will help me lose more weight. Or just stop the jiggles. LOL

I have been afraid of stretching my stomach also. I know that it is possible because a friend of mine has RnY and she has stretched her pouch. At my surgeon's office the PA told me that there are some people trying to get their staple line moved but struggle with their insurance companies. So I try to just be really careful with my foods.

It sounds like you are in a stall. This will pass, but I do have to agree with everyone else! You will notice a big difference in a couple of months. Have you measured yourself? Sometimes when in a stall, your body is readjusting and inches are coming off. Relax, continue on with healing.

Imagine your new thin self getting on a carnival ride with your beautiful children and they have the biggest smile ever! You sit down and the safety bar goes down and clicks and there is so much room between your tummy and the safety bar! This will be a reality. Everyone is scare before the surgery. I was totally freaking out and wanted to run. I didn't run and am very thankful I had the surgery. The best thing that's ever happened for me. Hang in there.......
