Inches Melting Away

BrownDoesAll

I was sleeved Nov 8th 2011. So I'm about 2 months out. Since surgery I've lost 23 pounds. I feel that is slow loss, my Doc says its right on track. They expect me to lose 5 - 10 pounds a month. So I'm not discouraged, I'm in it for the long haul. Learning how to eat and lose as a lifestyle. I'll admitt I HATE excersise and hope I can lose weight without adding excersise.

What I am excited about is the loss of inches. In those two months I'm down two pant sizes and that really feels good.

I'm getting comments about my weight loss, which at times is a trigger to eat more, but i'm learning.

I'll take the slow weight loss and the fast inches lost. Feeling good about the sleeve. I can eat what I want, or should I say I can eat what it wants. Sometimes I feel deprived from carbs, but I'm determined. Eating the protein first, then the veggies, theres typically no room for carbs so I'm good.

Please don't poo poo the exercise. The exercise will help firm you and assist your bone structure. I didn't really exercise like I was suppose too and now regret it. I could of walked for 30 minutes on a daily basis but talked myself out of it. Now I have hired a trainer and am doing core exercises and starte walking every day. I love it, i have alot more energy now and hope it will help me lose more weight. Or just stop the jiggles. LOL ;)

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
