  1. Gets better every day! FYI do not wait for longer than 3-4 days before you take something if you don't have a BM.
  2. It happens to me when I don't get all my water / fluids in. Assume you are watching salt?

  4. We get it at Smiths (Kroger). It's very good.
  5. My daughter made tuna casserole with cream of mushroom soup with garlic, mushrooms, tuna, and noodles. It was awesome! I'm on puréed so I blended mine but it was still very tasty. I've also had wonton soup blended and egg drop soup (not blended).
  6. Phase 1 clear liquid phase 2 full liquid phase 3 puréed. As far as I know for me anyway. Thx.

  8. I just started phase 3 and my doc couldn't find a copy of the diet so are butter, sour cream and cream chz allowed? How thick can blended food be? Thanks.

  11. I wore out the pants I wore in. They are jeanish but really baggy. I also wear drag string waist jammie pants.

  14. I am off U500 insulin in my pump and on regular novo log now. My Diabetic Educator said there is a good chance I will be off all insulin with hopes my pancreas kicks in again. I'm adult onset type 1. My surgery was Feb 20 and doing great. Wish I could have done this years ago! Go baby boomers!!

  19. I am sick of my liquid diet and fully expect after my post op on Friday to move to blended foods. Any good recipes? Concoctions? Ideas?

  21. I've never run in my adult life. I'm going to do the ColorMeRad run at the end of April. I will most likely walk it but I'm going to do it!
  22. At one week I tried but was severely constipated. Stuck for 3 hours. Don't wait any longer you need to call your doc or nut. Mine recommended Milk of Magnesia for fastest relief or Miralax for 2-3 days. Don't wait. It was the most painful experience of my life. No joke. Call today.
  23. Isn't that pushing it? My surgeon recommends a month off for healing. He says ill feel like returning but my insides need to heal. Be careful all you who plan on limited time off. You've had major reworking of your innards!!
  24. How did you know you didn't need your cpap anymore? And congrats on your weight loss.
