  1. I had mine out 24 hours after surgery and yes, there was a bit of leakage but keep an eye on it, it should start to diminish so if it doesnt give them a call.
  2. Girl....you have every right to brag.....you look fantastic! Congrats!
  3. OMG....yes, it was soooo worth it!! I just wish I had done it sooner! 24 lbs from goal at 6 1/2 months out, I am so stoked!
  4. Yaaay, my best friend from high school is having surgery the same day as you! Best of luck on a speedy recovery and keep us posted!
  5. Woo hoo! I am sooo excited for you! I am 6 1/2 out and 24 lbs from goal, yaaaay us!!!
  6. Dont beat yourself up....It happens to all of us at some time or another. I have done it myself, I had mine last week, ate 2 almonette cookies and felt like crap after but.....looking forward, what is done is done, I will be better prepared next time! Truthfully, it wasnt that much that you ate...jmo!!!
  7. Yaaay, I am glad to hear you are doing better! Down 46, you are doing fantastic...keep up the good work!
  8. LOL!!! I do the same thing!
  9. I went in for my first visit end of October 2011 and they wanted to do my surgery end of November! I have really good insurance tho, most have to jump thru hoops to get approved, makes no sense to me. I ended up waiting till Feb ( my choice) so I could have enough time off work.
  10. Hi Kim, welcome! You will find pretty much anything you need to on this site and most everyone is really nice and supportive. I am sorry your family isnt on board with this, I cant really relate to that cause mine was and I told everyone I could about what I was doing and why. Only person that matters is YOU....you do what you need to do, this is your decision, no one elses. I can honestly say I have no regrets and feel like a million bucks! Keep us posted ok, would love to hear how you are! Kim
  11. Completely normal....you will start the weight loss again soon! I did the same thing, kicked up my water/exercise and broke the stall. Best of luck!
  12. Yaaaay!!! Super excited for you too! Best of luck!
  13. VSG for me was a piece of cake! My childbirth was a disaster so...waaaay worse!
  14. Looking fantastic! Keep up the good work!
  15. Wow!!!! You look great, keep up the good work!
  16. I was cleared the day I went home, 1 day after surgery.
  17. You can try with food or change completely. I did the centrum chewables and the Costco gummys at first, now I take Costo multi's, 2 times a day...no issues.
  18. Carol, that is a huge accomplishment! It does get better daily! Best of luck to you!
  19. I was 4 months out before I started losing any hair but maybe you will dodge that bullet! My hair loss is starting to slow, still losing a bit but not even as bad as it was.
  20. Absolutely! I love them and have been using them since January. I dont drink them as much as I did at first since I am eating regularly now but they are convenient to take along and dont need to be refrigerated ( even tho they are better cold) I get them at Costco, $30 for a 24 pack, way cheaper than anywhere else.
  21. Hope your surgery went well and best of luck to all you upcoming sleevers, I wish you all the best!
  22. Weight training and good old fashioned cardio are doing it for me. I only have some loose skin on my upper arms and thighs...not on the tummy tho, got lucky on that one!
  23. Muscle Milk lights, chocolate and vanilla, rtd. I hated every protein powder I tried, the rtd are so much smoother and easy to take with you, dont even need to be refrigerated but they are better cold!
  24. Wow, that is some serious willpower! I made my hubby do the cooking for me but I only had two days of liquids pre-op. Best of luck to you!
