So Sloooow...argh!

I am so frustrated with this very slow weight loss. I am 3 weeks post op. I lost 12 lbs the first week, nothing the second week, and gained 3 lbs the third week (have done nothing different other than move to purees, and very little of it at that). I am going to be more diligent about getting in enough protein and water, but I am doing pretty well. Did anyone else have a slow start to their weight loss journey? I am super concerned that this is a bad sign for what to expect in the future. I am hoping that my body is just freaking out right now, and will get in "the zone" soon.

I am in the same boat. I'm three weeks out tomorrow. I lost 15 pounds pre-op, another 10 in the first week and a half, and I've been gaining and losing the next 3 ever since. I haven't even moved on from strained liquids yet- not til tomorrow, so I know it's not over eating. I struggle with the Protein (mixed without ice or anything - too thick per Dr. - I can barely tolerated any I've tried).

I'm about to think I'm going to be that 1% who never loses more than 20-25 lbs no matter what they do!

Completely normal....you will start the weight loss again soon! I did the same thing, kicked up my water/exercise and broke the stall. Best of luck!
