You only had 4 fills?? You probably don't even have restriction. I had my surgery in December and I've had about 6/7 fills so far.

that's AWESOME!!! i had my surgery 6 months ago and only lost 25lbs...Now don't you feel better?? hahahaha you're doing great, keep up the good work

Don't wait, call dr..it cld cause too many problems like a slip and you don't want that..i have to get some removed after my fill last month and i'm glad i did....

I didn't ask for one, but when i went for my follow up apt after surgery my Dr handed me a copy of the video...I was like, wow how cool is that...lol....So yes, some drs video and give copies...Mine did

This site is full of positive, encouraging ppl that are here to help you. You have nothing to be ashamed about, you should be proud of yourself for taking this step,b/c believe me, it's not easy...good luck to you on your journey

I too have that problem, but when I do eat too fast I sure pay for it, and not in a good way. Just had my 4th fill today .50 cc so i know that i will have to be really careful now.

Paperwork that I received prior to surgery said to drink only decaf..I tried it and hated it...Month after surgery I asked my dr can i plz have reg coffee and he said yes...He said he can't expect me to stop drinking it b/c he knows that he couldn't..LOL...Been drinking it ever since...

it's from your tonsils, and yes the smell is HORRIBLE....nothing to be alarmed about

how long were you on the pre op diet?

my dr sprays some cold stuff on my skin to numb the sport and then sticks very thin needle in, i had 3 fills so far and felt nothing, and i HATE needles.

My port is on the left side, few inches from my belly button..I didn't find mine under my 2nd week, b/c i was scared to press on my stomach...Good luck

that happened to me few days after my surgery. it was HORRIBLE...Benedryl did not work. Had to go back in to my surgeons office and he removed the glue on my incisions, but me on a steroid and it cleared up in a few days...

i was the same way and i closed my eyes and next thing i knew the dr said ok, sit up...I was like it's in?? I promise you, I didn't even feel a prick.....I laughed at myself afterwards for being scared for nothing....i've had 3 total and only my 3rd one I felt a little prick but nothing major....

i too love pizza and i make portabella pizzas, with the portabella mushroom as my crust....can you say YUMMMMMMMMMMMY

Sounds like you're having a "stuck" and "sliming "episode, doesn't sound like acid reflux..

OMG!!! i so feel your pain, Sunday I cooked a beef roast for lunch and tried to eat, after my first 2 bites i was in the bathroom....Not a good feeling

Please call your dr b/c you don't want to keep throwing up. I know someone that was recently banded and kept throwing up and band slipped so plz plz plz call your dr....

Prior to my 3rd fill which was 2 weeks ago, I too cld eat pretty much everything, and didn't really get full. It was only by pure will power that I didn't overeat and gain weight back. Now after my 3rd fill I can finally feel some restriction. there is NO way that I cld eat fast now b/c when I do, it gets stuck and trust me, sooooo painful. So trust me, once you get the right amount of fluid in your band, you won't be able to over eat without feeling the pain.
