Thank you everyone. i did go to the DR today and he took out 1cc. That is what he put in, So we decided that I will go away ans see the Dr when I get back and he will pit in .5 cc and see how I do with that. I am feeling so much better. today I was able to eat scrambled eggs and yogurt. And can drink now without it pooling in my throat.

I was banded on 5/16/12 and i just went for a fill last Tuesday. I now have 7cc,s. I am not able to get any solid food down since my fill and I have a lot of gurgling. I wouldnt be that concerned and would probably live with it for a while as I think it would push little weight loss except i am leavng for Disney a week from today with my family. I dont expect to eat a lot but would like to be able to eat more than liquids in a restaurant. Does anyone think I should call the Dr or will it loosen up?
  4. I think gas pain is bad but the bad pain I was getting was a lot worse. I just talked to a friend who also had this done last year and she said if I am getting pain try to eat something like jello but eat it in 1 tsp per hour. I am going to try a protien drink later. But drinkinging it very very slowly. My gas is feeling a lot better today DONT HOLD ANY IN. These blogs have been great for me to share stories and know I am not alone. Thanks to all.

  9. My gas was so bad too. I couldnt even take a deep breath. I am just sticking to popscicles. protien drinks
  10. I have an app with the nutrut on 5/24 so I think I will stick with jello and popscicles and protien drinks till then. I tried to eat a little broth and jello and started to feel sick again. I just woke up so I am trying a popsicle. I will keep you posted.
  11. yesterday had a scary thing happen. I was fine in the morning and on my stage 1 paper it says you can eat cream of wheat so I had it a few times. Well yesterday afternoon I got very sick to my stomach and was vomiting except nothing was coming up because there was nothing in there. I also had severe gas pains in my chest. The hosp ended up keeping me over nite and put me on naseua medicine and a medicine that coats my stomach before meals. They let me come home a little while ago and I just eat a few spoons of chix broth and started to feel crappy again.
  12. I got a paper from the hosp when I left with things to eat on certain weeks. So I have been going by my first week which changes on May31. Do you want me to send you the list?
  13. The gas is killing me to. I have been using those Gas-x that go under your tongue. I feel a little better today. I have been eating 1/2 to 3/4 pkg of cream of wheat for breakfast, soup or yogurt for lonch and 1/2 can of strained creamed soup for dinner. I have had a few protien shakes. Some sugar free jello. And trying to keep drinking water.

  15. Hi Everyone, I got my band on May 16. Everything seems to be going well. The port locatation is a little sore but not to bad. The worst pain I have is in my upper chest which I assume is from the air blown in for surgery. Trying to burp and get that out. I got weighed before I left the hosp and was up 7lbs but the nurse said it was from all the liquids they had been pumping in me by introvenous. That was a little depressing but hopefully this week I will get rid of that. I would love to hear from anyone to share their journey.
