  1. I don't like chicken all that much but I have a Problem with Ham!!
  2. I am Retired From Marine Corps in Yuma AZ and had no problem with Triwest! In fact I was approved 1st time twice before I was banded. I had to do a sleep study and Upper GI endoscopy as well as a nutrition class. I did not have a six month thing to deal with just a refferal from my Primary Doc that happens to be on base also!

  5. My first wife got Gastric Bypass in 98, me being in the Military was unable to support her throughout her surgery and recovery as I was deployed overseas. When I came home I could hardly Recognize her! She looked Beautiful BUT apparently other men thought she looked beautiful. A year later I deploy again upon return our marriage lasted another 6 months and we eventually divorced. we was married just shy of 18 years and had 3 children and knew each other since the 3rd grade. Yes I was Jelalous not because of the weight loss (I was very Proud of her) but from the attention she gave others. Now that I have had the Band I am now divorced for the second time but that has nothing to do with Jealousy on my part but rather hers. Its a rough world out there.
  6. Whenever I have a fill the Dr. pulls out all the fluid to make sure its all there before a fill. Also I felt the same on the adjustments not working until the last one I had 2 weeks ago. Previous to that after about the second or third day I felt no restriction whatsoever.
  7. Yes, I agree this was the first fill for me that I have felt any restriction so with any luck i am out of Lap Band Hell!!!
  8. I was told to crush my meds.

  10. This weekend I had the weirdest experience since being banded in Jun 2011. My last fill was 2 weeks ago and I now have 9.2cc in a 14cc band. I do have restrictions now and am finally figuring out what I can and cannot eat. As per Drs. instructions and everything I read I still drink at least a gallon of water a day, with that being said I get up several times a night to wiz! The weird thing that happened was the other night after doing my business in the bathroom I filled up a glass of water and began taking a big gulp of it! The water actually got stuck and it hurt worse than having food stuck, for several minutes I waited in pain. Finally I had to force the water up and it came up just like food but just water and saliva! Just saying this is the first time water has ever done that! Weird!!!!!
