  1. Wow, I am so sorry you had to find out like that.
  2. That is so inspiring. Thank you for sharing how much your journey has changed you. It is just amazing.
  3. Wow, your face is sooo much thinner. Work that sleeve!
  4. That is awesome. I can't even imagine how amazing that must feel. Congrats!
  5. That is an awesome NSV. Congrats! I still have a couple 16s sitting in my closet waiting for me.
  6. You have a good case, but the only thing you can do is apply to really see where you stand.
  7. Yeah, even at my 20W/22W I can find sizing in XL at Old Navy sometimes. Gotta love them for cheap work pants.
  8. I have, but you can't use A LOT of its functionality until you have surgery so it really isn't that helpful unless you have had surgery. Also, just a side note, if you lose your password, they are not at all helpful with helping you recover it.
  9. Congrats on your surgery! Hope you have a quick recovery. My surgeon uses a 34 french and does not oversew the staple line. The bougie is just a guide for the surgeon. It doesn't tell you exactly how large your sleeve will be because it is dependent on how the surgeon sews and staples.
  10. Caeser dressings and onion parmesan have low carbs and awesome taste.
  11. I am not where you are yet, but I can totally understand your fears. You have spent six months working towards this most likely preparing for surgery. It is completely understandable to have doubts, but you wouldn't be doing this is you didn't feel that you didn't need this tool. Good luck! Wishing you a quick approval.
  12. that is amazing! You are looking fabulous. Congrats!
  13. I think finding something you want to do or something you want to work for can also be tons of motivation. I want to run the half marathon at Disney in January so I started the couch to 5k program to start. I now have a goal and it isn't half as hard to get motivated.
  14. Oh nom, that just sounds delicious. I really want to try these.
  15. Welcome to the forum! I definitely agree that this website is an invaluable resource.
  16. Way to go on the inches! Are you starting to feel better after the first month?
  17. Haha, I think I would have jumped up and down, screamed, and about lost my mind. Congrats! I hope you get the call to schedule a date much sooner than it took for approval. I hope UHC gives me the same news in a couple of months. Congrats again!
  18. Wow, that was more complicated than it needed to be. Sorry for all the stress you went through today. At least, you got everything you wanted to get accomplished done. Congrats, on a big step forward.
  19. Wow, you look fabulous with the hair and the weight loss. Keep it up!
  20. I can't walk across campus without being out of breath. I am ashamed to go out with my friends sometimes because I don't fit any of my clothes. I feel sick all the time. I am getting older, and closer to the diseases that come with being obese and that run prevalently in my family. I do not want to be another branch on the diabetes and heart disease family tree. I have admitted I need help.
  21. Aw, I am sorry. I am on the same boat and I have my 4th weigh in next Friday. We will see if I lose the 3 pounds I gained this morning. I am wishing you good thoughts and a quick TOM.
  22. Yay, that is one of the first milestones I want to hit. That means I will be lowest ever weight in my adult life.I am so happy for you. Congrats!
  23. That is awesome, congrats for getting the courage to take that step. Welcome to the forum!
  24. Thank you, Kayla. I am feeling EXACTLY that way, but I know I will get through it. I mean, look at you! You did it. I am so excited for you. That is awesome. Yeah, I thinking a treadmill or exercise bike for the living room would be a good investment.
  25. My doctor said I could have my surgery Friday and be back to school on Tuesday, so I guess it just depends. I would be so bored if I had a month off.
