Huh, that is just brilliant. I am definitely picking one of those up before surgery.

I started the Couch to 5k program two weeks ago and have been doing Week 1 for that time. I would love to have some buddies on the forum also doing the program, so we can keep each other going. Getting more active is my total goal with this and possibly running the Disney half marathon in January. I'm super pumped!

I have UHC Choice Plus in Florida, and they are pretty up front about what they want to cover my surgery 100%. I am required to have either a BMI over 40 or a BMI over 35 with 2 co-morbidities (I fit the former), be over the age of 18 (Done!), complete a six month supervised weight loss program with a physician (Working on it), complete a psychological evaluation within 1 year of surgery, and have my surgery at a Center of Excellence. Each insurance company is a little different by state though, so I definitely recommend calling your insurance company to see what they require. P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Each branch is different. It is recommended you call your own insurance to verify your coverage. Aetna PPO in Florida is different along the state of Florida and by employer. Therefore, I am sure the same thing can be said by Nevada. Don't get caught by insurance just because you didn't verify your benefits.
