we all know favoredone! this is a MUST READ!!! today i was having a bad day. nearly passed out while shopping and felt so weak & sick & i have a bunch of pain in my chest & back from this stent. i came home & took a nap when my mom came & knocked on my door with a box from proflowers. i was confused by who it mightve been from until reading the beautiful message inside. ha! mine consisted of driving him around the tri-state area looking for cars since his died on him. not a card, not a balloon, not a flower, not a plant, not a valentines day kiss.... nothing. i bought him concert tickets for next month that cost me $200 & he refuses to go so now im trying to sell them. yay!!! happy valentines day :'(

i have a leak. im 8weeks post op & my leak was discovered at 5weeks. they placed a stent in me on jan 26th & it has truly truly truly truly TRULY been hell. i definitely regret surgery. i am down 50lbs & i rather had gained 50lbs than to have lost it. the stent has been making me seriously sick. i cant eat & i can barely drink. it had me fighting the urge to vomit 24/7 & i would vomit about 3-5x a day & i even wake up in the middle of the night to throw up in my mouth & hand! on friday, i couldnt take it no more & i demanded that they remove the stent. they refused & told me that if my leak hasnt healed, i can become seriously ill & could die. i said fine! they sent me for a xray which showed my stent had migrated. long story short, they were going to remove the stent but it was still covering the leak so they decided to just re-adjust it. since re-adjusting (friday), ive only vomitted 2x. im not fighting the 24/7 urge to vomit but i do feel pain. they are going to remove the stent on feb 20th so im counting down the days & im praying it comes fast. i want it out. by the way, my only symptom of my leak was me throwing up bile 2x.

they found my leak at week 5. i didnt have one leaving the hospital.

first let me say that im sorry youre not feeeling well. i know this feeling all too well. you should be seen by a dr to find out why youre vomitting & maybe you need to be on nausea meds. have you had vomitting problems before? i dont mean to scare you but dont ignore signs your body sends you. throwing up bile 2x was my only indication that i had a leak.

yikes! i too am having complications but not the same as yours. ive never heard of a complication like yours. i have a leak. i cant keep anything down due to astent being placed in me in which is making me soooooo sick. im supposed to keep the stent i for a total of 4-6weeks. its been 2wks & 1day & i am requesting them to take it out!!! i cant deal with being so sick.. the constant vomitting, not eating, barely drinking, constant nausea & discomfort. its HELL!!!!!! seriously. i cant deal with it anymore. i feel as if i am dying slowly & they are trying to drag me to the 4week mark & i cant do it.

they really gave you medical marijuana?

well i am now where u are! i cant eat. food makes me so sick. i can keep liquids down but the smell of food makes me want to throw up my life! i even saw a picture of a hamburger & it was so gross

the infamous swabs! lol. i lived on those. i had a billion of those. for the pain in the shoulder, try walking around. when i came out of surgery, i only had incision soreness & dry mouth & i was sleepy. i didnt press my morphine button often. most times, i forgot it was even there until an incision would hurt real bad. i was walking around like nothing. i had my gall bladder removed 2yrs prior & i think my gall bladder was worse in the hospital. good luck to u! <3
