  11. hey guys! its been a while. i wanted to ask you guys.. how long after submitting your papers did you get approved by your insurance? how long after getting approved were you sleeved? heres an update and a little background on me. nov 1st makes my 5th month out of my 6month process. i finished all my tests except my cardiac clearance which ill be doing nov 2nd. im meeting with my surgeon nov 30th & dec 1st is my 6th month. hopefully, theyll submit my paperwork that day & ill be waiting to hear if im approved! im PRAYING to be sleeved by dec 20th! i spoke to my nurse practioner and she said dec 20th is very possible! a little background on me.. im 23. ive been overweight my entire life. my bmi is 47-49. i have high cholestrol, hypothyroidism, pcos, acid reflux disease (inflamed esophagus & stomach), chronic back pain, fatty liver, inbalanced hormones & i think i may be missing one or two! lol. i pray i get approved.
  12. i said the samething & after reading more, i see you beat me to it. lol.
  13. the only thing you cheated was misery and an early death!
  14. youre are so damn right. i love when people make great valid points as this. this surgery is about us. they are just not educated enough and are not motivated enough to make such a change!!!! screw them! as far as people ignoring you, thats just disgusting!!! because you lost weight thru surgery? give me abreak!!! i hate ignorant people.
  15. go to the er and they will find out what it is. gall bladder is usually on the right. im pre op but 2yrs ago, i had a gall bladder attack and my whole stomach hurt but when i pressed down on my right rib, it took my breath away.. LITERALLY! i think the pain hurt so bad that my heart skipped a beat. lol. i even did it a few times after (stupid, i know) to make sure i wasnt psyching myself out. i also felt like i had someone sittin on my chest & i felt like i broke my back. horrible! it can be a stomach virus, hence the diarrhea. i was going to say appendix but thats right side too. i think only thing left may be kidney stones. definitely go to the ER tho. a dr will just send u to an er cause they cant run all the necessary tests on the spot. good luck! keep us posted.
