  1. My husband and/or 13 yr old son and I generally share from the same plate so they are actually getting less than what they usually would. We are all losing together. LOL
  2. Too dry of meat and bread. Those are the only things I can't get down.
  3. Congrats!!!:bananapartyhat:
  4. I was lucky if I got 500 cal in a day when on liquids. When I loved on to mushies I really started dropping weight.
  5. I'm in! I loved the 4th challenge
  6. I went to my appt for my first fill 6 weeks post op and it was decided that I didn't need one. I did not have anything put in at the time at surgery either. I am now 2 months post and still feel the restriction. I know there are several people on here who didn't need their first fill until 6 months + after. If you don't need it, don't get it...but still go for your appt. Great job!

    Outstanding!
  8. That is one of my hopes. I am 34 and really wanted to be pregnant before 35, but I don't see that happening yet. However, with losing 30 lbs (even with PCOS) my cycle has been regular the past 2 months without being on Metformin.
  9. That's great!!

    AMEN!!! You look great, btw
  11. I have been LOVING how much more energy I have during my workouts! An hour doesn't seem to be enough for me! I go to the gym early in the morning with my husband and then do something in the evening as well. The inches shedding off shows me it is working!
  12. I believe standard requires an overnight stay, but prime is only an overnight stay if you have a hiatal hernia. I was in surgery at 7:30 a.m. and home by 11:00 a.m.. I loved my reclining couch for the first week
  13. If he works there and you were there for treatment/procedures, he can't say anything.
  14. I burp much more now than when I did pre-surgery.
  15. I am doing great! I haven't had a fill yet, went in last week and decided it wasn't necessary. I am down 22 since surgery (lost 10 the week before) and have no troubles at the gym or anything. I think the biggest difference is with my clothes. They are all baggy and hang. It looks like I have lost way more than 32 lbs. I have lost several inches in my mid section, which is weird because it is usually the slowest thing to go on me...but I am NOT complaining!
  16. I loved this challenge!! Came in a little under my goal and am excited! Ready for the next one
  17. Sweet! I wonder if we had the same doctor. LOL
  18. The testing is all required by your surgeon...but I had to have all of mine done before it was submitted to Tricare.
  19. I was just at a family reunion last weekend and while it was hard to see all of that food all over the place, had no issues with eating around the family. They know what I had done and most of them actually commended what I was doing since they had their plates loaded up and were stuffing their faces. Having surgery shouldn't keep you from family meals. I wouldn't worry about it
  20. Mine went very fast. Got my referral in March and had surgery in May. Longest wait was for my appt with my PCM to get all the referrals for lab, x-ray and ekg. I was approved within 2 days of them submitting everything to Tricare.
  21. I just had my surgery on 5/27 and they did not use this new formula at that time, it was still the weight and co-morbidities. Good luck with your appeal! Tricare is one of the easier insurance companies to deal with but they are very strict about their requirements.
  22. I haven't flown since being banded, but I do live here in Vegas. Have fun!
  23. I had liquid Lortab as well
  24. Went in for my appt and did not get a fill. The PA asked me the following: "So you're here for an adjustment. Do you think you need one?" "I don't know but don't think so" "Are you measuring your food?" "Yes" "Measuring out 4 oz every time?" "Yes, but usually don't finish it." "Do you feel full when you finish your meal?" "Yes, I feel satisfied" "Are you snacking?" "No" "And you're losing....so nope! Okay, you're good! See you in a month."
