  2. How that's the first I heard of Kasier requiring a three month diet prior to options. We were told to bring in prior proof we had tried, but then they never even ask for them. Hang there the process for So Ca Kasier is long.
  3. You need to follow your surgeon's instructions. This really could have caused you harm.
  4. If you are less than 3 months out from surgery you might want to hang on to them for later. Your taste and what your stomach can handle will change later on. I couldn't stand them either after surgery. But now I have no problem and like them, 6 months out.
  5. I have had 2 big stalls so far lasting up 5 weeks. I used the Boot camp plan just this week (t posted in the post op fourm.) It works great!

  7. Turkey Chili. Super easy to make. I portion out for my lunches. 1 pound ground turkey 1 onion, chopped 2 cups Water 1 Adobo chilie with 1 TSP sauce from can 1 (28 ounce) can canned crushed tomatoes 1 (16 ounce) can canned kidney Beans - drained, rinsed, and mashed 1 tablespoon garlic, minced 2 tablespoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper Top with a sprinkle of low fat cheese.
  8. I am starting my 6th month and have 30-40 more to go, I too have stalled since New Years. Don't give up! Have you tried myfittnesspal.com? It does help keep track of everything you eat.

  12. Yep I believe it, both my husband and I have lost 50 lbs each and wow what at difference.
  13. I have had a potassum problem since surgery. Do you have any eye or finger twiching? You should have your Dr. check your levels and see if there are low.
  14. Now I see what you are saying, just noticed it on Myfittness pal. It increases your daily calories if you exercise. Shows in the net. Hmm
  15. I am six months out now and was scolded by my Dr. at my last visit. He says we need 1200 a day right away after surgery.There is no way I could have done that. Even now it's hard too get more than 900 a day in. I never heard of "net gain" before. I will have to google it.

  18. I am six months out and half way to goal. I slacked off a little during the Holidays, but I am back full steam ahead. My Dr.also said expect up to 70% loss. I have seen many here on board make it below their Dr's goals
  19. Yep I stalled for 6 weeks after a month and half from the surgery. But I was still losing inches like crazy.
  20. My Kaiser policy changed to a DHMO just before my surgery, I had to pay a 10% coinsurance. Which my cost was 2 thousand.
  21. LOL I can see daylight bettween your leggs in the last picture! Great job!
  22. Hysterectomy is way harder. With the sleeve yes it hurts for a couple of days, but each day you feel so much better.
