I would like to know the answer too. I have a pretty big one on my left forearm. I just hope its just as pretty after i lose weight. I have a small one above my right ankle but I am not as worried about it. I plan on getting a few more but after I lose at least most of the weight.

I am still pre-op but my doc said no drinking 30 min before or after any food. There's not enought room in the tummy for both and I guess it takes a little time to naturally leave it.

My doc is starting to do vsg as outpatient. It sounds like you are going to have a fabulous recovery!!

If you spinkle just a little water on your food before you put in in the microwave it will be alot less dry. Hope this helps!

Hi!! I am kinda new here too. It sounds like you are doing great though!! Everyone loses weight differently and you have already lost almost 8 5lb bags of sugar!! (Thats how I like to view my weight loss ) Keep up the great work and you will be to your goal in no time!! I can't wait to get sleeved!

And people say I don't need to have vsg. SMH I know these are not very flattering clothes but I want these before pics to look as bad as possible so i will remember to never get here again!!

A couple of weeks ago I had never even heard of vsg and was just possibly considering rny. Well it's gonna be the sleeve or nothing for me now!! I am totally addicted to this forum!! It's getting me through the long wait!! I wish I was self pay so this would go so much faster. Insurance requirements suck!!!

I have 3 young kids, 7, 4 and 3. I am telling them every step of the way. I am trying to explain it to the younger ones so that they can understand it. They think I am going to go to the doctor and he is just going to make me skinny right then. Good luck telling your kids!!

Awesome about your surgery!!! I have been reading everthing!! Also been watching you tube videos and reading on fb and my surgeons site. I have been getting myself mentally prepared and my husband is excited for me. I just purchased a Blender Bottle from ebay... Now time to start trying out different Protein to see what I like and what I dont. OK So about the doc visit... He put me on 1500 cal and 10k steps per day. I just can lose about 30 pounds before I am in danger of my bmi getting too low for my ins. Wish I could sleep for a whole month till time for my first visit with my surgeon!!!!!!

I am going this morning to a pcp to start my 3 month required diet. I have fed bcbs. I am super excited!! My bmi now is about 47 or 48.... I know I can't get below 40 before surgery or my insurance wont cover me. I LOVE reading all the posts here and I love the pics even more. I can't wait to have an after pic!!
