1 week since surgery....down 10 pounds!

Not sure how much people normally lose but I was totally pumped about these 10lb! Wondering how the upcoming weeks (prior to stall of course) usually compare to week one. Anyone care to share their experiences prior to the 3 or 4 week stall?

Congrats on the loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job on the 10 lbs!! I was just under that. I stalled at about 2 1/2 weeks. I realized though, that I wasn't getting enough protein in. So watch for that and keep your fluids up.

I lost 30 pounds in the first two and one-half weeks. I am now 6 1/2 weeks out. I asked my doctor if this was normal, I was worried that I lost too much, but he said it was fine and that I had a lot of fluids. BUT after the big loss, I stalled for about 2 1/2 weeks and gained a few pounds, I was very discouraged. I weigh and record my weight on Saturdays and this pass Saturday I weighed and lost 4.6 pounds, now the walking is paying off. So the moral of the story is, just hang in there when you stall it will definitely come off. Keep up the good work and good luck!!
