I'm in Ga but I haven't begun my process yet. Still researching doctors and what not.

That's fine... We all have to start somewhere... Mine began by trying to get insurance to cover it and you guessed it .insurance won't cover it for me.I finally made up my mind ... After months and months of researching to go to Mexico ..

Where in GA are youu??? Are you going through insurance or self pay ? I'm self pay and going to Mexico Like lots of other woman from this site... The sleeve is new here in the states but they been performing it in Mexico for years ... Good luck and you can PM me anytime.....

I'm in Georgia too. Instead of fighting with my insurance company, I've decided to go with a Dr. in Mexico. I'm self pay as well... I'm scheduled for July 1st. It'd be great to have someone to talk to with similar experiences. smile.gif

I am outside Atlanta, GA. I have been fighting with UHC for going on one year now! I am finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. UHC would not accept a support group that I attended for six months. I had to do the process over. This time I went with individual counseling for requirement.

I anticipate surgery in August (I hope sooner if possible). Please send me a message anytime.

It's with Dr. Aceves in Mexicali.

Hi there! I am scheduled July 26, also in Mexico. My name is Wendy and I live on the south side of Atlanta. It would be GREAT to have someone going through the same thing at the same time. I'm nervous but excited and just can't wait to get started on a new life. I will keeping us both in prayer!
