    Day 8, quick morning update

Hi Team! Well, I went for a ride to a pharmacy on a nice smooth road. Stayed in the car. Came back. 15 minutes each way. Needed a nap. I am sipping soup broth, protein water, water, ever 5 minutes while I am awake. Now, with all the July 4th food commercials, fast food delivery, fried chicken commercials, I HAVE NO CRAVINGS, very happy. I am thrilled that I work for a living! Day time TV is terrible. I can't yet concentrate on a book for a few minutes yet. I have a small puppy, so I have company every time I get up to move around. I will post later today, keep moving everybody!

I had my surgery done a little over a month ago and the first 10 days were hell. It gets better. Focus on water over everything else right now.

Hi perhaps you can try shifting your meals to later in the day if your schedule permits so dinner beats head hunger into submission at night

    Fruit juice-really the enemy?

It’s not surprising that you are not dumping eating sugar. My Dr suggested the sleeve because I am a type one diabetic. Less chances of dumping with the sleeve. My instructions are to drink watered down juice to bring my glucose back up (when they are in the 30 to 60 range on my glucose meter) All surgeons/dieticians’ plans are different. Juice is not on my plan for weight loss because its empty calories. It’s choice on how you want to fuel your body. Eating/drinking empty calories. or hitting your protein/nutrition goals with the foods you eat/drink or I can tolerate anything. Just because I can eat/drink it does not mean I have to eat/drink it.

    First post op milestone

I celebrated the same victory this week and I was dancing so I understand. It's the small goals that I will be celebrating. Congrats! Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app

Is this normal? 2 Days Post Op

Honestly, for the first week or so if it's weird or kinda hurts, it's normal. You will absolutely be back to normal, and honestly, it's going to happen much sooner than it feels like right now! The first few days/week are about doing what you can. Remember that your goals are goals... you will have to work your way up there, and that's ok!
