How do I stop cravings ?

My appetite returned between the 8th and 9th post-op month. Activities that decrease my cravings and hunger include aerobic exercise (e.g. running, jogging, bicycling, hiking, stair climbing) and drinking caffeinated coffee. Caffeine cuts my appetite dramatically, even though some people may be opposed to it. Activities that cause me to feel hungrier include weightlifting and watching television. While I'll continue to lift weights, I've greatly curtailed my TV-watching because it promotes a sedentary life.

Post op 15 days and no weight loss

I am just a couple of weeks ahead of you with a similar starting weight. We are considered light weights and will lose slower. I have lost 23 lbs in 8 weeks and I am thrilled. Tou are doing great. Stalls are common so don't stress. Stick to your plan and just keep going.

It'll be here before you know it! I can cross my legs for the most part but prefer not too. I am always reminded of blood circulation being cut off and spider veins for some reason. Lol. I do cross them from time to time though. Happy you're at the end, you'll be crossing soon. You having the sleeve?

    Vent..complain..self pity perhaps

I am 4 weeks post op and I think my biggest issue is not enjoying the prep that goes into cooking. So I'm often looking for pre-mede meals. I also need to do better at calorie counting. Tedious.... HW: 265 SW: 250 CW: 222

Did anybody else's skin clear up?

My skin started to clear up when I started eating low carb back in January. It is a great side effect😊

Very common. They pump you full of steroids which makes you retain water, then they pump you full of fluids on top of it. The xtra weight should fall off rapidly. Congrats on taking the plunge. All the best on your journey!

    Breads Products!

Honestly? That's what got a lot of us this fat to begin with. I'm planning on avoiding those foods as much as I can til I'm in maintenance. They're trigger foods for me. My nutritionist/surgeon puts their patients on a strict low-carb, high-protein plan, and that seems to be the case for most bariatric patients, from my research.
