Well, another goal I'm not going to make........I wanted to be at my goal weight by my bday, which is next week. eeeek, not going to happen. So now I'm just hoping by my 3 year band anniversary which is in January!   Eating has been good lately, exercise needs to pick up - it needs to be more consistant. I've got a plan for next week, so we'll see how that goes.   Tomorrow taking a vacation day from work to just play. I plan on hanging out at my friends and lounging in her pool all day. Yay.   The scale is going down, but not down as fast as it goes up. Why is that? Ever wonder how you can show a 2 lbs weight gain overnight and then only lose 1/2 pound the next day? Hmmmm.   Wt 164.6

3/26/09 - short & sweet today

Menu -   Bfast 1 cup fiber one cereal - 3 pts 1 cup of skim milk - 2 pts 1 bannana - 2 pts   1 pc WW candy - 1 pt   Lunch WW Quesadia (sp?) - 4 pts 100 cal strawberry cake - 1 pt   Snack sliced strawberries - 1 pt   Dinner 3 oz of chicken breast - 3 pts green beans WW yogurt 1 pt   Low on points today, but will probably add more, just need 2 more.   Exercise   10:00 am - 15 min on elliptical 3:00 pm - 20 min on elliptical 8:00 - gym - 1 hour, missed my gym last night, so will be doing circuit training and doing upperbody work along with cardio.   Wt - didn't weigh today.....

I'm going to to Cancun!

Yay, my cousin called me yesterday and she won a trip to Cancun. She was top sales and gets to go to Cancun for the awards ceremony and wanted to know if I wanted to be her guest. No charge, completely FREE. uhhh, let me think about this, Free trip, all you can eat and drink, on the beach resort, uhhh, hell yes! So, I leave for all inclusive trip to Cancun for 4 days on April 23rd! Yay!   This gives me some motivation to keep exercising and lose more weight. I think I can lose 5 more pounds by then. Its a little over 5 weeks away I think. I might be able to lose more, but I'll take 5!   The resort we're staying at is called the Cancun palace and its a 5 star resort with all the luxeries you can imagine. I'm getting a seaside massage, under an open-air palapa! Thats what I call WONDERFUL! All drinks and food are included. And they have a state of the art gym, so I'm telling myself now, just because I'm on vacation, no reason not to exercise! So, I'm planning on exercising while i'm there too.   Anyhow, I'm excited, can you tell? My cousin first asked her mother to go, but her mother has no desire to go, then she asked her husband, but he recently had surgery on his shoulder and he hates the sun. So even though I was her third choice (lol), I am totally pumped over it!   Now, on the exercise note, I set the alarm this moring, and I could've gotten up, but my body was just worn down. I have not been getting in bed until after 11, and getting up 3 or 4 in the morning. I could feel how worn out it was, so I decided to go back to sleep. I tell you, its just what I needed. I feel so much better today and so much more energy this morning that I haven't had in a long time. So I'm glad I didn't get up this morning. I plan on going to the gym after work, and I will get back up tomorrow morning, but for today, I needed the rest, so no guilt about sleeping in.   I stayed off the scales, but will probably weigh tomorrow morning. I put on my size 10 jeans and they are actually a little loose. hmmmm. Maybe inches are melting?   Last night, we had our meeting at church, came home, and I had recorded the Biggest Loser, my friend came over (she lives around the corner) so she could watch the Biggest Loser. So we were very mad at the end of the show when it said "To be continued...." Grrrrrr.   Next week, I think I'm going to have her come over on Wednesday nights and we'll watch it then. Getting home at 9:30 on Tuesday nights,then trying to watch the show, puts me in bed toooooo late.   Well, looks like I'm a chatter box today, but I'm just so excited, Cancuun, my clothes feeling loser, I feel skinnier, and I have energy today!   Gotta get to work......   Menu today - I get 21 points a day:   WW muffin - 3 pts coffee with cream - 1 pt bannana - 2 pts   Lunch salad - 0 pts Meatloaf made with Turkey breast and extra lean beef - 3 pts   Snacks yogurt - 1 pt apple & WW cheest - 2 pts   Dinner Egg White omlet made with spinach, turkey, peppers, salsa (yum yum) -5 pts   WW ice cream bar - 2 pts   I'm still 2 pts short today, but maybe I can add a point in or 2. If not, I'm not too worried about it, however, they tell me to make sure I eat all my points.   Exercise - 40 min on Elliptical - 8:00 pm.

Bummer

Okay, I was doing great on my 84 day challenge, then on day 10, I was exercising, lifting weights and I felt something very wrong in my shoulder.   I went to the doctor and it turn out I tore my rotary cuff - hurts like a dickens. So no weights for the upper body for awhile.....the doctor said it can take 6 mos to a year to heal, and I could have to have surgery, but we are trying physical therapy first.   Anyhow, so I will stick to cardio and lower body workouts.   I will be leaving for vacation Saturday afternoon, I plan on exercising while we are on vacation. We are going to our family cabin in the mountains and I will be in control of what I eat, so I think I can eat pretty healthy too.   I'm looking forward to so R&R. My goal on this vacation is to LOSE WEIGHT, even if its just a pound. My last 5 vacations have been on a cruise, and I always gain! So this is the first vacation in awhile without gourmet food. lol. I will be doing the cooking, and let me tell ya, it won't be gourmet! hehehehe.   Okay, I will post when I get back to my blog - My goal is to be at 158 when I get back home, thats 1 lbs lighter. Hopefully I will be more, but I will be thrilled with 1 lbs lighter!

Oh yeah, its on! I was up at 5 am and working out at the gym by 5:20 am this morning. Now, let me tell you, I was sooooo tired and didn't want to get up, after all I was at the gym until after 10:00 pm last night. But I knew that I would not be able to go tonight - so I forced myself up. I'm glad I did it!   First of all, I had a great workout last night, it lasted 2 hours, I did 60 min on elliptical and 60 min with weights, working my lower body.   This morning was pure cardio - did 45 min on the elliptical.   Tomorrow, I'm planning on another 2 hours at the gym, planning on doing 60 min of cardio and 60 min of weights (working the upper body)   Today's menu: 8:00 am - coffee w/cream 2 boiled eggs & 2 slices of thin bacon (290 cal)   11:00 - protein shake made with skim milk (200 cal)   2:00 - Tuna & broccoli (180 cal)   4:30 - yogurt, banana (160 cal)   6:00 - carrots & hummus (100 cal)   9:00 - Weight watchers snack - (140 cal)   As you can see, I'm eating quite often, just small meals. Trying to blast my matabolism by eating every 2 to 3 hours.   I also retook my measurements last night, and I did not weigh this morning. I put the scales up. I am avoiding the scales until 12/14/09. A two week progress check. I will re-measure and weigh at that time to see how I'm doing.   Okay, I'm off to work..............

6/08/09 - Day 1 of 84 day challenge

Okay, I decided to start the BFL challenge AGAIN...I've only done it once completely. Usually I don't make it to the end of the 12 weeks, but this time, I'm going to do it!   I did it about 18 months ago and had good results, so I need to focus on the results I had and not the "working out 6 days a week". I know I can do it, I just need to do it!   I took my before pics last night, so I can compare my pics every 4 weeks and compare my changes.   I brought my workout clothes with me to work, so I can workout during lunch, there is NO EXCUSES.   Menu today   Bfast yogurt mixed with cottage cheese   Snack hummus/carrot sticks   Lunch 3 0z chicken spinach salad   Snack cantelope 1 string cheese   Dinner soup   Exercise - Upper Body work out   Wt - 159.1 - Yay, in the 150's!!!!!

I'm off HCG now, taking a week break or otherwise known as a "planned interruption".   I ate so much yesterday, stayed away from sugar and carbs, and I was worried stepping on the scale this morning, but I lost another .6 oz. Crazy, but I did. Down to 157.5 now. Yay!   I am just in shock at my thighs, I can't say enough about them. They are my biggest problem area, always have been and now they are shrinking!   I have not been this small in 21 years! Its amazing!   Life is going good these days. :blushing:   Menu today   Bfast Coffee with coconut milk creamer (yum) strawberry jam (crushed strawberries with stevia) with melba toast   Lunch Spinach/ricotta cheese stuffed chicken breast (yummy again)   dinner Steak, salad, blue cheese dressing   ***I'm eating lower carb this week while taking a break from HCG diet. Will continue HCG on 4/1 until 4/18

My first NSV

This might seem a little weird, however, it made me feel so good so I believe it is a NSV.   I was sitting at the red light yesterday, and I could feel someone looking at me, and I turned to the left, and there are these 2 young boys hitting on me. The driver was practically hanging out the pasenger window trying to get my attention.   Now, I'm a very happily married woman for 19 years, but let me tell you, it felt good to have these 19 yr old boys flirting with me. I know they would have just crapped thier pants had they known I was 40! LOL.   I smiled back and drove away..............

Bfast - lc yogurt with a handful of granola   Lunch - string cheese with 6 slices of shaved turkey breast (45 calories total for all six slices)   Snack - Fresh strawberries, sliced up, about 1/2 cup or so. Maybe 4 or 5 huge strawberries - yum. love strawberries!   Dinner - chicken breast - spinach salad   1 piece of cheesecake - yes I still have some left at my house! I will be glad when it is out of the house   Exercise - No exercise today - but I WILL do at least 5 times this week no matter what!   Wt am in bday suit - 182.7 - grrrrrr. Well, my weight is holding steady at 149.9, I'm hoping this stall will end soon and I drop a few more pounds. I was hoping to get to 145 by the end of the month when I move from HCG phase 2 to phase 3 and 4.   But if not, no biggie. I plan on doing another round when I get back from my cruise at the end of July. This should get me to my new goal of 135.   Menu today   Bfast coffee with 1 TBSP cream melba toast strawberry jam (homemade with no sugar)   Lunch 3.5 oz of beef grilled tomatoe salad   Snack apple, lemon juice   Dinner baked fish - 4oz salad

I'm recovering from my surgery nicely. Still tired but not as sore. I've been eating pretty good but not losing. I've started keeping a food journal to see how many calories I am eating, I could be eating too much without realizing it. I still cant exercise, but hoping to when my 6 weeks recovery time is up. I will check with my doc at my follow up appt. From everything I've read, 6 weeks recovery time is needed after a hysterectomy. wt 170.7

My latest fill is still pretty good, I think I might need just a tad more then I will be done. I'm so glad he finally listened to me and quit taking all the fluid out each time. My way is working!!!! I am finally getting some restriction!   My menu today:   bfast 1/2 grapefruit, green tea   Lunch - saute'd grape tomatoes, with 3 oz of grilled chicken breast   Snack 2 melba toast, sliced apple   Dinner 4 oz of talapia (grilled) cabbage - steamed

40 months ago.............5/20/10

40 months ago I got the band. What a roller coaster ride its been. Below are my stats - month by month - as you can see, the longer you have the band and the closer you get to goal, the harder its been for me. Some fly right to their goal, for me, its been hard work - and lots of it! Also, lots of ups and downs, the band helps with controlling eating, but not slider foods (ice cream - chips, etc.)   So emotional eating has been something I continue to deal with. When I'm down, I eat. Its something the band has not been able to fix, and I'm still working on it every day.   Consultation with Doc 11/24/06 - 248.9 Surgery Date 1/18/07 - 226 1 mo post op (Feb 18)- 206.8 2 mo post op (March 18) - 198 3 mo post op (April 18th)- 193 4 mo post op (May 18th)- 184.2 5 mo post op (June 18th(- 178 6 mo post op (July 18th)– 174 7 mo post op (Aug 18th)- 178 - went on vacation and ate big (7 day cruise) 8 mo post op (Sept 18th)- 174 9 mo post op (Oct 18th)- 170 10 mo post op (Nov 18th) - 167 11 mo post op (Dec 18th) - 170 - haven’t even been trying 12 mo post op (Jan 18th 2008)- 174 - again, not trying. But finally refocused - exactly where I was at 6 mos post op – so basically no weight loss in the past 6 mos 13 mo post op (Feb 18th) - 183 - Ouch! started taking steroids and made my weight go up, along with not eating right and no exercise! 14 mo post op (March 18th)- 185 - grrrrr 15 mo post op (April 18th)- 180 - weight is finally going down, but inches are actually coming off faster since I've been exercising a lot. 16 mo post op (May 18th)- 178 17 mo post op (June 18th)- 175 18 mo post op (July 18th)- 179- still not focussed:sad: 19 mo post op -(Aug 18th) - 178 - focussed again - This time I am committed to getting to goal and will not stray! I do not ever want to see the 180's again! 20 mo post op (Sept. 18) - 171 - :rolleyes2: 21 mo post op (Oct 18) - 168 22 mo post op (Nov 18) - 169 - I am focussed and doing good, but need to get back to exercising. I want to hit 160 by year end. 23 mo post op (Dec 18) - 166 - only 6 more pounds to get to my goal by year end. I don't think it will happen, but I will continue to try. 24 mo post op (Jan 18, 2009) - 168 - had hysterectomy and gained from all the fluid due to surgery 25 mo post op (Feb 18) - 168 - not losing, maintaining - joined Weight Watchers to give me some accountability and some structure. 26 mo post op (March 18) - 165 - WW going slow, but finally moving down again 27 mo post op (April 18) - 165 - grrrr - 28 mo post op (May 18) - 160 - FINALLY, almost out of the 160's. The lowest I have been in YEARS! 5 lbs away from being at a healthy weight, and 15 lbs away from my ultimate goal of 145!!! 29 mo post op (June 18 - 2009) - 165 30 mo post op (July 18, 2009) - 163 31 mo post op (Aug 18, 2009) - 163 32 mo post op (Sept 18, 2009) - 160 33 mo post op (Oct 18, 2009) - 164 34 mo post op (Nov 18, 2009) - 163.2 35 mo post op (Dec 18, 2009) - 168.4 - very discouraged and just giving up 36 mo post op (Jan 18, 2010) - 175.6 - depressed that its been 3 years and still not at goal! 37 mo post op (Feb 18, 2010) - 173.4 (decided it was time to take control and started HCG) 38 mo post op (March 18, 2010) - 161 39 mo post op (April 18, 2010) - 158.5 (had a little slip with vacation) 40 mo post op (May 18, 2010) - 150.7   Wt this morning 149.9 - holding strong in the 140's for the past couple of days. I will be glad when I see another drop, the further I get away from the 150's - the happier I will be. :confused:

On 7/18 it was m7 18 mo anniversary. I'm keeping track of my weight month by month. As bad as it is, I want to see where I've come from and how far I need to go, and how my eating is effecting my weight. Although I haven't lost weight in awhile, and keep yo yoing around the same 10 lbs. I'm overall happy with the lap band.   I don't blame the lap band for my no weightloss lately, I blame myself - I have to try a little harder than I have been doing, exercising is needed and eating lean proteins.   Even though I've been stuck for months, I'm happy that I'm not over 200 lbs. My history before lap band, If I wasnt trying, I gained like crazy, could gain 20 lbs in 1 month. So for that, I love the lap band. I'm not giving up and I'm going to hit goal by my 2 year anniversary, this is something that I am determined to do!       Highest weight - 248 1 mo post op - 206.8 2 mo post op - 198 3 mo post op - 193 4 mo post op - 184.2 5 mo post op - 178 6 mo post op – 174 7 mo post op - 178 - went on vacation and ate big (7 day cruise) 8 mo post op - 174 9 mo post op - 170 10 mo post op- 167 11 mo post op - 170 - haven’t even been trying 12 mo post op - 174 - again, not trying. 12/19/08 report

Yesterday I ate too much, too much sweets around the office. A girl made this delicious pumpkin cake for me. And guess what, I ate some. grrrrrr.   I am back on track today. I had my weight control oat meal for bfast and having some turkey for lunch. ONe thing I have learned from the band is, just because you blow it one meal, or even one day, doesn't mean its over. Just get back on track, the band will help you get back on track too.   I did go to the gym last night, I had a really hard 1 hour workout. Pre-band, I would have said "I already blew it today, why work out?". But the new me knows that working out is the key to succeeding with the battle of the buldge.   I didn't step on the scale this morning, and probably won't until Monday.   My goal for the weekend is eat clean and exercise!

My menu:   4 oz of yogurt with 2 tbls granola   lunch 4 oz of yogurt with granola   snack 1/2 green apple with 1 tbls penut butter   dinner 3 oz chicken breast rice - about 1/2 cup   Then 1 slice of plain cheesecake - no, it wasn't sugar free   Exercise - 20 min of HIIT on the elliptical machine, burned 200 calories, 1.7 miles   All in all, I did pretty good besides the cheesecake. What happened here, let me explain myself, I had a single friend of ours over for dinner because I made too much food. (I always think about the single men since they don't have a wife at home cooking for them), anyhow, he felt obligated to bring a dessert - even though I told him not to, he still brought a cheesecake factory cheesecake. So, I felt obligated to have a slice. I should have just eaten 1/2 slice - but no, I ate the whole darned slice.   Anyhow, after eating the cheesecake, I headed to the gym and worked off 200 calories.   Scale in the am stated I weighed 183 - arggg, sucks~   I will see the number go down, I will, I will. I'm determined! I'm not giving up, I must see the 160 again, soon! I have 100 days or so left until my cruise, I refuse to go weighing what I do now. I want to look halfway decent in my bathing suit you know.   Well, I will start checking in more on my journal and updating my menu. This seems to keep me on track better.

New Month, and new goals! This month, I WILL get back to the gym, not tomorrow, but TODAY.   I have got to get back to exercising!!!!!   On a good note, we had our District Convention (religion) this weekend - three day, and I ate great! I packed my lunch everyday and had hummus and carrot sticks, very filling. I would also throw in a yogurt or piece of fruit.   Dinner consited of grilled, or smoked chicken. yum.   When I left (Thursday I was at 159, this morning I am at 161). But my body bounces around until it decides what weight it wants to stay at. Also, traveling always makes me hold more fluid.   I am upping my water today, and we'll see how tonights weigh in at weight watchers goes.   I can't believe I'm getting so close to goal!!!!

Fill #18 - my quest for that sweet spot!

Update on my life these past few weeks. I had an appointment with my doc on 10/29 and I explained to him how I felt I might have a slow leak because I keep loosing restriction. He decided he would completely drain me and add the contrast and test me. So......10/30/09 I show up and he did that just that. He could find no leak in the band, or the tubing. Good News right? Well, I was happy that I had no leak, however, I still don't understand why I lose restriction all the time.   Anyhow, he added 4.6 cc's. I knew right away that I didn't have restriction when he had me eat my peaches, and drink the water. But, I thought lets give it a week or two and see how it does. Sometimes it does take a few weeks for a fill to settle in. Well, I was starving all the time, hungry and I ate! I tried, I really did, but the hunger got the best of me. Anyhow, called and made an appointment for another fill.   Went in yesterday and I don't think the doc beleived that I was wide open like I said. So, he did a barium swallow test on me, and sure enough, I was right! He said, wow, you are wide open. It makes me wonder that if he missed my port the last fill? Maybe he didn't fill me up or some didn't get in? I don't know why I wouldn't have any restriction.   Well, he added 2.5 cc's to my band and I seem to have "some" restriction. I'm not as tight as I was still, but at least it is keeping my hunger at bay. I'm going to give it a few weeks and see how it does and focus on eating my protein first!!!   I had lasik enhancement surgery on Thursday ( I had it done 2 years ago) because my eyes were getting worse so I went ahead and had enhancement done on them. Because of my lasik surgery, I can't exercise, wear makeup or rub my eyes. They don't want me lifting over 10 lbs, and no sweat running in my eyes. I go for my 1 week checkup on Thursday and if all is good I can get back to the gym. I really need it!   I'm avoiding the scales, just don't want to see the numbers right now. Because of my last fill, and eating all the time, I know I've gained. My size 8 pants are wayyyyy to tight and I'm back in my 10's. grrrrrrr.   But thats going to change! I WILL be back into my 8's - soon!     Fill #1 - 3/6/07 - 2.2cc's   Fill #2 - 4/17/07 - 3.0cc's   Fill #3 - 7/6/07 - 3.5 cc's (I think it was only 2.5cc's because when I went back for fill #4, he could only w/draw 1.8 cc's)   Fill #4 - 7/20/07 - filled me back to 3.0 ccs - He should have filled me more!   Fill #5 - 8/17/07 - 3.4cc's   Fill #6 - 10/08/07 - filled me to 3.8cc's - the best restriction I've ever had,but still could eat big bites of food, so I figured I needed to be tighter.   Fill #7 - 11/21/07 filled to 4.0 cc's. By the evening could not hold anything down, not even my saliva. PBing all night - horrilble experieince   UNFILL #1 - 11/23/07 - unfilled to somewhere between 2.5 to 3.0 cc's - NO RESTRICTIONS AGAIN :confused:   Fill #8 - 1/18/08 Went in and the doc filled me back up to just right under 4.0, according to Flouro, it was perfect. Well, by next morning, could not hold down saliva again, ended up back in hospital   UNFILL #2 - 1/19/08 - Doctor had to unfill me to 3.0 again because of the swelling from all the PBing for being too tight. Again, NO RESTRICTION -   Fill #9 - 2/12/08 - 3.5 cc's - was tight for about a week, now feel lose again. grrrr, still have "some" restriction, just not quite enough! Next fill scheduled for 4/7/08 - I hate that it takes sooooooo long to get in to see the fill doc.   FILL #10 - 4/7/08 The doc just added .4cc's, making me at 3.9cc's. I think this might be the one!   FILL #11 - Was scheduled on 6/25/08 - but the doc did not fill me up, I was leaving for a cruise on 6/27 so he didn't want to risk me being too tight, so did not get a fill.   FILL #11 - 8/5/08 Went for a fill, this time the doc took all my fill out and all he could get out was 2.4 cc's. Filled me up to 4.0 cc's, I left, had to go right back because I could not drink, he took out a little over .2 cc's, he said I'm somewhere between 3.5 to 3.7 cc's. - I had great restriction for 2 weeks, but It has now loosened some. I feel I might need a tad more. I'm worried I have a very slow leak.   UNFILL #3 - 8/5/08 - Took a little over .2 cc's out, had pretty good restriction, but still a tad too lose.   FILL #12 - 9/17/08 - Added just 1/10th of a cc - I think I'm somewhere between 3.8 to 3.9 cc in a 4cc band. I am hoping and praying this is the fill that I stop with! I do not have another appointment for another fill, will wait this one out and see.   Fill #13 - 10/06/08 - Doc added about 2/10's of a cc. He took everything out and put it all back in and said I was about 3.7 to 3.8cc's. - which is where he said I was last time.   FILL #14 - 11/10/08 - Doc took everything out and I had about 3.6cc's, which is pretty good. He then filled me up to just under 4.0cc's I believe I'm about 3.9cc's. I ate some canned peaches and set around the office for a bit, made sure none came back up. Seems to be doing good so far. I hope this is my last fill!   FILL #15 - 08/10/09 - Added about 1/10th of a cc. I think I'm right at 4.0 cc. Wt on the morning of my fill was at 165. But was very bloated from steroids I was on for the previous week.   FILL #16 - 8/31/09 - My last fill lasted 2 weeks then I felt wide open. Went in for another fill, this time he did not take any out and just added 2/10th's of a cc. I think I'm just a little more than 4.1 cc's in a 4.0 cc band. I feel great restriction so far. I'm hoping this last. I'm sick of fills. lol. - I could tell my fill was wide open, I was starving all the time, wt at the time of fill was 170! grrrrrrr   FILL #17 - 10/30/09 - completely drained me, checked for a leak - no leak YAY - added 4.6 cc's - I feel like he didn't add anything, feel wide open! Hungry all the time   FILL #18 - 11/09/09 Doc did barium swallow test - I think he thought I was full of it. He saw what I was talking about and agreed I was way too loose. He added 2.5cc's. I feel restriction again, but not a real tight restriction. I have no idea where I'm at these days and I really don't care anymore how much CC's I have, I just want RESTRICTION!!!!!!

Honeymoon is over!

Well, once again, I can feel myself losening up. I think the swelling goes down and I get lose again. I still have some restriction, but not as much as I want.   I'm going to call for another fill and have him do the fill just like he did this last time, not to take ANY out, and just add a little, I'm so close to that sweet spot.   I can't eat a whole bunch, but can eat more than I should. I do force myself to stop eating before I eat too much.   I've had fills in the past that got tighter after a few weeks, so I'm hoping this one will get tight again, so we'll see. In the meantime, I will make another appointment for another fill.   NOTE TO SELF, time to exercise again and you will lose! Quit depending on the band to do all the work for you!!! ...End of Note to self.   Last Monday when I woke up and stepped on the scales, the exact number was 171.6 - yikes! This morning, it was 164.5, so the weight has dropped a lot in the past 5 days.   I'm sure in the morning I will probably weigh more than I did this morning, I went to my aunts house for a family get together. Well, had a peace of homemade chocolate cake, ate barbeque, and just ate more than I should have.   I'm planning on hitting the gym tomorrow, and eating right so hopefully by the time I weigh in on Monday, I can be happy.   I really really really want to see the 150's again! But more than that, I just want to be at goal. I'm almost embarrased that I've had the band as long as I have and not reached my goal.   I knew when I got the band it was going to be a long process, but I seriously thought I would be at goal by 18 months. I'm now getting close to 3 years! January will be 3 years. I guess I should be happy with how far I've come, I'm down from a size 18 to a comfortable 10 and when I'm weighing around 160 I wear an 8 comfortable. Today I'm wearing my size 8 capris and they feel good.   So I should be happy with my progress, and I am happy. I just want it all. I do not want to be the statistic bandster that usually only loses 60 to 70 % of their excess weight. I said from the very beginning I would lose 100% of it and by jolly I will!   I need to THINK before I eat, I need to quit grabbing the chocolate out of the candy dish, and most of all I need to exercise! Time to refocuss and finish what I've started. So, as of tonight or this morning, Sunday at 12:45 am CST, 9/6/09, I promise to myself that I will recommit to the bandster program. Recommit myself and give me what I deserve. I deserve to reach my goal, I deserve to take time out for myself and exercise, I deserve it all!   So, by my 3 year Band anniversary, which is 1/18/10, I will be at goal! My goal is somewhere between 140-150.   I'm going blog my daily progress, or at least try and blog daily. I seem to do better when I blog....I want to keep myself accountable to my promises to myself so I'm putting it down in black and white! Here goes my final push.........time to cross the finish line and finsih this race!

Just updating my blog. I weighed on 12/11 and lost 5 lbs, weighed in at 168. I am not weighing again until 1/1/10. I still have not measured again, but will do that on my next weigh in.   I'm on my 4th week of my exercise plan. I was up at 4:45 am this morning, and let me tell you, its still not easy to get up and get to the gym. But I've got a buddy and I don't want to let her down, so I'm a firm believer in the buddy system!   Eating has been GREAT! I have been doing very good, lots of fish and chicken. I've had a few days that I splurged, but they were planned splurges, so I don't feel guilty.   Will check back later...............

I had a GREAT workout last night, my DH & I went to the gym and I worked my upper body out. I worked it so hard, I felt like mush when I left. But it sure felt good to be back in the gym workout out like i used to do! I'm excited to be back in the program! I can't wait for 1 month from now, because I know if I am consistant, the results will start showing.   Menu today   Bfast 1/2 cup skim milk, grapenuts cereal (about 1/2 cup)   Snack yogurt   Lunch tomatoe soup (this is the last of my container, thank gawd, getting tired of it, but it is good)   snack - handful of nuts   Dinner 1/2 cup of beans & ham - yum   Exercise 10:00 am - 15 min on elliptical   2:30 pm - 22 min of HIIT - burned 181 calories, and 1.71 distance   Gym - my plan is go tonight and work my lower body - the abs are screaming for crunches!
