LB Names?

Recommended Posts

Ok I have to admit that I'm a bit of a goofy kid most of the time and I've seen some people around here name their bands. I just love this idea. :mad2: So I'm asking you, those that have named your band to share the names with the rest of us. And if you have a special reason for the name please share too!

I was thinking more of the bands themselves instead of our screen names. Sorry if I was a bit vague earlier. lol. losing my mind in the days up to surgery. :)

Minxz- Love Shock Collar. Makes me laugh. I picture the first time we tried to use one with an unruly dog... her poor little face. lol (we stopped using it after that and I even returned the thing... before the peta folks start in)

I figure it will be like getting an animal... you have to see it's personality before really finding a good name. I've only got 14 more days!

In the beginning it's a little heartbreaking to see your beloved pup yelp at the shock, but after a while they get used to it and behave themselves, especially in public. . . nothing is more annoying then a barking dog when your in a park or at a football game and the dog is barking at everything in site. . . mine just kept "smiling" everywhere when he wore it and people thought he was the most friendliest dog around (120 lb giant german shepherd) Friendly, my eye!:)

Unfortunately couldn't keep that pup. She didn't get along at all with our coon hound. And trust me an upset coon hound has this amazing talent to whine in such a pitch it will make your ears bleed. So we found the new one a really good home... with my sister. So we still get to see her. She loves it there. So all is well.

Oh Well you gotta love the screen names anyway

Mine is just my band. It's a tool. I like it, but it's just a tool.

Careful Paracelsus..in some circles "BOB" is an acronym for an adult toy :) Although that might be kind of fun?....

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
