Sarah, giddy and girly is one of the best feelings in the world. As far as setting a date, the faster you set it, the faster this whirlwind of excitement and engagment will come to an end. Let it last, take your time. Being engaged is such a thrill. I think I'll divorce Chris just so we can get engaged again :)

COngratulations!! I am offering my services for your wedding! I playthe piano and sing and have been a wedding singer/pianist in my town since I was 11 years old. SO whatever you need I am your girl. Oh yeah I have references and I do about 25 weddings a year that is my cutoff. LOL

Wow! Thanks so much you guys!! I do want to start planning (mostly in my head until my sister's plans are done) but my head is kind spinning right now! I have to pick my colors, and decide if I want a big traditional style wedding, or a smaller more 'casual' wedding, where, when, who, lol. I'm about to inherit 16 sister and brother inlaws (Mike's 9 older siblings, and 7 of their spouses), and over 30 nieces and nephews! I need flash cards with pictures for names!! hehe

I'm a little overwhelmed when I try and think of it all at once, but I'll get to where I can think of one piece at a time, lol. :)

Congrats Sarah!! DH and I have only been married for 18mths and I still feel all girly and giggly sometimes - so enjoy the feeling!!! Your ring actually looks a lot like mine, when we bought the wedding rings I got 2, one for either side and it looks amazing - so thats my wedding tip for you :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
