SV and NSV

I have lost 17 pounds since surgery and 27 total (10before)

I have noticed my clothing feeling loose, so today i tried on some of my dogshow clothes. My last show i just grabbed and ran, well i looked like i was in clothing way to big, because it was.

My suit was a 26-28 and fit just fine a month ago. Tonight i tried on my 22 size suit i got them sipped up and buttoned. A bit tight but i think i can wear them in a few weeks. Then i put on an outfit my friend gave me a year ago, size 22 sipped up buttoned and i could bend over. I would like it a bit looser but OMG a few months ago i could not get it over my legs.

I have NO FOOT OR LEG PAIN since i lost some of my weight. I spoke with one of my doctors today and she said i can start TyeBo again. Woooo hooo, just low impact so i dont hurt my knees.

All i can say is THANK YOU Dr Watkins!!

SV numbers moving

NSV OMG inches have come off more then the scale has moved.

Hey there Congrats...

What kind of dogs do you show? My friend is a great dane Breeder and show-er. I love being a part of their lives, being there when the pups are whelped seeing them in the shows when I can, It is sooo awesome...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
