I got a band adjustment @ the end of may and i've been fine ever since 3 days ago. I cant seem to keep anything down. Its more of slime coming up not the food. I've been chewing how im supposed to but the slime just wont stop. Does anyone know if my band might be too tight. Can it get tight this long after the adjustment doesnt seem right but need some input??? Im lost.

I find my band tighens up on its own from time to time, usually during times when I would retain Water, pre time of the month or during very hot weather, also when I am really stressed. I find that for 4-5 days I can only get fluids and shakes down and then things go back to normal.

As long as you can keep fluids down you will be ok and not dehydrated. if you have been pb'ing a lot your oesophagus will be inflamed so go back to liquids for a day or so to allow things to settle down and then gradually work you way back up to solid food.

if you are worried give your bariatric team a call and if you can't keep liquids down, go and get an unfill as soon as possible.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
