Jeni, I am so glad this round went good for you. Can't wait to see the new Jeni. Whoo Hoo!:crying:

Ok, This hint is so over due it is not even funny. If you get that stuck feeling have someone rub/tap your back which usually produces a burp which then takes care of whats stuck. No hanging over the sink pbing .

But I have good restriction the lbs are dropping slowly but definitely going.

I am in smores hell though everynight, with those damn over the burner smores. Damn girl scouts anyway for inventing them LOL

I guess I ma in a crazy mood tonight hence all the icons!

Happy hump day!

Just checking in and so far it looks like everyone is doing good. Keep up the good work and remember "I'll be watching you". That didn't come off as creepy as I was hoping, just do it in a slow Boris Caroloff voice and you'll get it.

Take Care,

Just checkin' in with my 2007 Marchies! You guys are amazing--goals! plastic surgery! life changes! Awesome!

I'm doing well. Turned 60 yesterday--that was a milestone for sure. I'm so glad I've lost the weight I have--it would have been a much harder day if I was old AND fat!

I was laid off from my job in January and spent four months traveling the country and seeing every one of my kids and grandkids--what a wonderful time I had! Precious memories. Then I started a new job and have been at it for 3 weeks. The learning curve is pretty steep but I'm hanging in there and am so grateful to have gotten a job. Sent out over 150 resumes before finally landing this one.

You guys are doing SO well--keep up the good work and good luck with the ps aftermath, healing, and bikini-wearing! Have a great summer, everyone.

Thanks, Carol. It was a good day--we went last night with a small group of friends and family to dinner and then to see Pixar's UP! and stayed till the end to see (and cheer) my son-in-law's name in the credits. It was exciting! Fun and tender movie, as I sat there next to my sweetheart of 41 years and thought of growing old together. A good day!

Mom Lambert,

Don't you wonder where 41 years has gone? We will be married 40 years this fall and I'm amazed that it has gone by so fast.

For sure, Carol! It's a big blur--we were SO busy and involved with life. It's nice now to have a little time to really be together without so many interruptions. Glad we still like each other!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
