Hey everyone I'm going to Spain for the summer from May until Aug. and I'm worried about not having any fill thus no restrict thus no weight loss and possible weight gain. Does anyone have any suggestion? Should I look for a fill doctor in Spain? I'm super scared of coming back carrying a few extra pounds!!!:confused::biggrin:

It's just 3 months out of your life. You can discuss with your surgeon but you don't want to be TOO tight...that would be a nightmare and dangerous, to boot.

If you are at good restriction now just go and enjoy your summer!

Take me with you!!!!! Whatever happens, I hope you enjoy yourself. I have joked about getting my band intentionally loosened for my trip to Italy next year! LOL

GOOD LUCK!

Hey thanks for all the comments and advice!!

Okay maybe I am freaky out just a little too much but when you start losing weight you get obsessed with it and that is all you think about. My tool has helped me so much and I hope that even without a fill for 3 months I'll be able to maintain.

No offense intended for the Europeans, but I think most of the food in Europe is horrible.

If you are like me, you might lose more.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
