Okay, so I love my Wii Fit. But I would like to get another fit game. I was looking at "My Fitness Coach." Anyone have this game? What do you think? Any other fit games you all like?

I heard that there is another wii fit game coming out in May. Anyone know what it is?

Thanks gang!

Hugs,

Hugs,

I have the fitness couch. I would highly recommend it!

I really enjoy it because it is more like a real group workout. Its not really set up like a game. I really feel like I got a good workout when I use it. I compare it to going to the gym and taking a group exercise class. You should give it a try!

My DH just bought me the Wii and Wii Fit. Okay, after setting it up and putting data in ... we both tried some of the balance games and the Basic Steps Aerobics...The Lapband (I was banded 12/11/09) has definitely changed both our lives... a 55 and 60 year old couple giggling and playing (hopefully soon I'll call it exercise). I have a lot of practice to just get up to being in the ball park or should I say gym. On basic steps ... I only got 13 steps out of 85. See what I mean...no rhythm and left, right, front and back...I don't think I can do more than 1 thing at a time. My DH did much better but we had fun and got off the couch! What was good it did raise my heart rate 11 points. It must have been all that laughing!!!! Well anyway, I think I'm going to love it! I'm axious to hear more about using Wii programs for variety to exercise.

WOW!! Good for you DebbieGail.....that's what it is all about, just do somehting!! I too feel this is the best thing I could have done for myself. I try to do at least 30 minutes every morning before getting anyone else up and going to work. I try to walk every afternoon on my way home from work too, if I come home first, I would never get back out! =)

Keep up the good work! Ann

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
