3 things you're going to do when you've lost enough wgt (discretion advised)

Recommended Posts

1. wear a size 10 or size 8 dress and feel like I look good and my face isnt so fat and round.

2. stand on the scales and be able to see straight down without having to peer around my belly.

3. go down the slide on a cruise, which I wouldnt do yet because I look so bad in a bathing suit still. Im about into a size 14 though, closer.

My goodness, we have a lot of horse lovers out there!!!!! It used to be one of my wishes, but I think I'm getting too old now.. I might fall off and break something that won't mend anymore!!

So.......

Go dancing with my husband and dance all night.

Never again stop to study a room to find the best place for me to sit without getting in someone else's way.

Go biking with my granddaughter.....

1. Buy about 10 custom made 3 piece suits and dress shirts.

2. Take DW on all those vacations I owe her.

3. Buy a ton of life insurance for DW

4. Some sort of ridiculous sports car.

5. Get a custom made tuxedo, and find reasons to wear it.

1.) Go to the park with my baby boy and actually PLAY and run with him without getting winded and telling him every 5 to 10 minutes "mama has to go take a break now"

2.) Go on a rollercoaster with my hubby!

3.) Be an inspiration to my overweight mother whom I love dearly.

3.) Take a run and NOT a jog!

1 - Buy a nice bra from Victoria's Secret. My DD's have turned in to C long :frown:

2 - Buy a bathing suit and not cover it up with shorts and a t-shirt when we go to the ocean in a few months

3 - Wear high heels, now that my feet shouldn't hurt so much from carrying around an extra 80 pounds!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
