What do you all do?

I have been a EFDA, Dental Assistant for the last 2 1/2 years, and prior to that I was a Pharmacy Technician - I still keep my Pharmacy license up to date just in case I ever decide to go back. I would love to become a pharmacist but with 2 small kids and being 3 hours from one of the nearest schools, it just doesnt work.

But since becoming a Dental Assistant, I really seem to enjoy that. Believe me, you never look at someones mouth/teeth ever the same again. LOL

I'm a surgical grossing tech for a pathology group. Which means that when you go to the doctor and have stuff cut off it gets sent to me. I find the clinically important parts and send them on to the pathologists.

I think it is the best job ever. :-D

Kinda what I do...I am a histotech at a Childrens hospital. 17 years later and yep! its the best job ever!

I am a Lead Business Analyst in the IT department of a very large U.S. Airline. Love my job, hate the constant uncertainty of whether or not I will be one of the unlucky ones who gets layed off.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
